  1. Nice! Didnt expect that most freqs would stay the same. On the other hand its easier for them as well, if one mic dies Bono can easily grab another without someone at the mixing deck pulling their hairs out.

    Isnt the Steering Wheel Mic wired? Although i saw some antenna like thingy on it, it seems more handy if that one is wired.
  2. It doesn't matter if the mic is wired, I think. The IEM receiver picks up the frequency of the desk>>>Bono's earpiece signal, not the mic freq alone. Am I wrong?
  3. We are talking about the NON in ear monitor feed. The feed that is sent back from Bono's mic, without clicks, countdowns, other band members, etc
  4. Aha, I see. But that's just the raw Bono vocals, isn't it? Why would anybody record that, without other band members, without voice effects, etc?
  5. I dont know. To mix it with Edges feed, sing along under the shower, etc. Was just a thought in my head and hoserama was kind enough to share his knowledge and expertise with us
  6. Like Risto said, it's useless on its own other than novelty. However, it's handy for a full mix.

    With the wireless, you have to walk into it knowing that you will need to do some real mixing to get a complete capture. All these single feed pulls, while nice, are incomplete recordings of the show.

    I wish more experts like hoserama would give hints for doing matrices or give us their generell knowledge about all this. Thank you very much. The hint using clicks from the iems to mix them was great!!! It's so easy now.
