1. Denver '87 Best streets for me and best boot .....
  2. If we count the transitions, the best is Zoo Tv version. But if we don't, for me the best version is from the Joshua Tree Tour (Tempe 87')
  3. Which Tempe show are you all talking about?

  4. Ahh, that is possible. I just downloaded the first Tempe boot, the opening of the 3th leg, and Bonos voice is really weak so that isnt the best version I guess

What? Joshua Tree's 3rd leg started in Uniondale, near New York. They played Tempe at the end of the 3rd leg... or maybe you mean the tour opening concerts, in which indeed Bono's voice was very weak because of that desert sand alergy...

Huuh, You are right im a bit confused . But is the show some here are talking about the first or the second date?

  7. The GREAT version of Streets that they're talking about took place in the second-to-last 1987-12-19 - Tempe show, and it's the one which is included in the R&H movie. Great concert and bootleg, as well as the following day one. Around 32984·10^9times better than the one you downloaded, that tour opening was very weak

  9. The best is 7-11-87 in Denver
    31-12-89 Point Depot

  10. 1989-12-31 - New Year's Eve/Day at the Point Depot

HOLY SHIT. IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER.
  11. Streets is my all time favorite U2 song, as I'm sure it is for most of you guys here.

All of the preformences that are listed are all great and fantastic, considering any preformence of "Streets" rattles my bones and bring tears to my eyes.

But I'm gonna have to go with the Slane version. Slane was the very first U2 concert I ever watched growing up in middle school after I was first getting into U2 and their music. A majority of the songs that they've played I never heard before so the entire show was an epic thing to behold, but "Streets" on that show simply made my jaw drop and shook my inner soul to it's core. Just hearing Bono's wail from "All I Want Is Yoooooou..." into that opening synth and Edge's echo delay and finally to Bono's emotional wail. There were no words to describe what I felt when I heard that for the very first time - the sheer energy, the passion, the emotion. It was right then and there that I knew that this wasn't any ordinary band and cause of "Streets", as it was the whole concert, that I cemented myself into U2 fandom and I've been a fan ever since.

And it's all thanks to Slane "Streets" for me.
