1. For me, it's between Slane and their Superbowl performance.

Also, for some reason, Denver's 360 show performance was really moving. Maybe it was because of the "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" segue.

To be honest, I did not like the Popmart version of Streets very much. I really liked the Please segue, but I hated what Popmart did to Streets, especially that part at the end. It ruined so many great bootlegs for me.
  2. PopMart Streets is AMAZING!!

Sure, it's not my prefered version, but it's a kickass version nonetheless. PopMart was all about embracing European, Dancy Techno married to U2's brand of Alternative rock, so they gave "Streets" a "dancy" update to make it concise with thier musical feeling at the time. Complete with techno synths and a faster, dancier tempo

And I love PopMart Streets. The way the song builds up along with those techno synths and the faster tempo and the ending is awesome, the Edge's extra guitar part and Larry and Adam's fast rythem pacing just drives it home. Especally when sequed with Please, it's just an amazing, moving moment during PopMart - i.e. Live in Mexico, Sarajevo, Miami, etc, even if Bono's voice wasn't always spot on.

I'll always go with the true original, but PopMart Streets stirkes to me as a fun and unique revision of Streets.
  3. Whats wrong with the Rattle and Hum Film version?
  4. I hate how Bono is whining in the intro to the version on the Slane Castle DVD. That performance was average, and not as good as everyone says it is.

That's not whining it's crying/singing out to his dad who passed away two weeks prior to the show... probably if not one of the best versions of Streets ever.

To each their own I guess, though.
  6. For me the best version of Strreets would be on Outside Broadcast cd... excellent tempo, perfect performance from the band, excellent singing from Bono. I especially like the "ohhh ohhh ohh's here, since the first one is sung without Edge back vocals, and on the second one Bono's voice goes raspy and Edge comes to rescue. Sounds awesome!
You can find this gig in ZooTV Houston show, just choose the bootleg that is called TV/Radio performance outside broadcast.
