1. I agree with that too, but when did he say that?
  2. Bono responded to a tweet (I think it was Q/GQ magazine last year or so) asking why they're not playing more NLOTH songs live, and he said something like 'Although we're very proud of the songs and regard them as one of our best, they don't really have the pace/rythm that all our other great live songs have, so they don't quite fit in'
  3. Well, then I agree. The only songs that actually WORKED on their stadium setups were No Line and, in a minor extent, Magnificent, Unknown Caller and Breathe. But other songs like MOS, Being Born, even Cedars or White As Snow could work much better in a smaller stage and audience like a small arena or a theatre.
  4. Moment worked pretty good and it would have been "interesting" if they had given the others a try at least
  5. I think Breathe, No Line and Boots worked pretty well, and however I also liked UC and MoS, I don't think general crowds liked it that much. They could have given NLOTH another try on that semi-acoustic set-up, sounded nice.
  6. Fez-Being Born should've been the opener, if not for the whole tour at least the first leg. Fez plays over the PA, and U2 comes out for the Being Born part. It would've been all too perfect.
  7. I too think that bands should every song from the album they are promoting at least ONCE (or a few times) in a live setting. You never know how the crowd might respond.
  8. I just got the NLOTH deluxe box-set (I never got it back in the day, only the digipack version) for 13€ shipped. The book and the No Line poster are worth that price alone... Great thing.
  9. I loved Linear.
  10. Anyone else prefer the track listing from Linear over what was actually released on the album? I know I do
  11. I liked that it included Winter. That should have taken the place of the three pop songs in the middle. Because Winter - even in the lesser Brothers version - is incredible either way.

As for the track-listing, I don't mind it either way.

  12. I hope you mean you loved the track listing. If you loved the visual of the DVD, I'll be glad to get some dude to ride his moto around for an hour, film it, and sell it to you. Just kidding, I know that sounds mean and sarcastic.
