1. Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but alright.
  2. I still like most of NLOTH, but I think also it is a incoherent record.
It has Boots, which is the worst single of U2 ever.

And it is a record which is going to be forgotten by most the fans, because the songs are not played anymore and at 360 only in the first legs 7 songs of NLOTH are played and then dropping Breathe and NLTOH, which is a big shame.
  3. this record unfortunately didn´t pass the test of time. nevertheless there are few really good songs I would love to hear live again - Breathe, Unknown Caller, No Line on the Horizon (or still non-played Cedars of Lebanon)
  4. That was my reaction the first time i listened to it back in 2009

This is my reaction when I tried to listned to it last mounth...

  5. You state things as if they are fact. This isn't the first time. To call anyone who likes this album a drone is ignorant. You should realize it's simply your opinion.

Thanks, MofoNYR15. I appreciate you saying it!

But it's all good. Drones are sophisticated scientific technology. Or, in bee terms, can buzz around carefree all day and fertilize the Queen every now and then. I'll take it!

    Then there's:

(pre-emptive disclaimer to whom it may concern: this is a joke. relax)

  8. I didn't call anyone who likes this album a drone, I was referring to the comment that Edge said this album is for fans. I was merely taking that and morphing it to reinforce my argument, sort of out of resentment of the implication that I'm not a fan because I don't like this album.

And everyone should state their opinion as fact, because what else is it to you? Need I say "in my opinion" before every comment I make? Of course they're my opinions, and I'm not the only one who shares them most of the time.

    Jeez...

One thing doesn't imply the other.

"This is an album for fans"
    =
"This is NOT a mainstream/casual fan album"

"This is an album for fans"

"Whoever dislikes this is NOT a fan"

I think this is clear enough now. Misunderstanding from one side and another has taken us to a useless discussion that we're now ready to move on from

LOL. There was no misunderstanding here. But I'm ready to move on. I'm always ready to move on.

I might even change my user name to u2drone. LOL.

Useless amusing (to me anyway) conversation ended.
