1. Every time I read about U2's comments regarding Popmart, I almost never hear it being talked about in a positive light by the band.

    Which is a shame.
  3. Pop was part of the U2 from the nineties. Taking risks. It was exhilarating to follow them. Waiting to see what exciting music they would do next!!!.............. Oh.... ATYCLB........

At least No Line pushed a few boundaries. My preferred U2 album from that decade. It stands up well.

    Exactly my point of view.
But now I'm more than satisfied with SOI. They are too old to push boundaries now and I don't need it by them anymore. Now it's up to others. But they can still produce amazing album
So NLOTH was nice fresh air after those previous two...

"The tour that I am most proud of is Popmart, it was amazing." - Bono, 2015
  10. I remember reading that recently and it boggles my mind even more because of it. I don't understand how he can love the tour so much which was so centred on pop and everything the album was about, yet it's still so ignored.. Can't even get a discotheque snippet in the crystal ballroom or another mofo snippet in iris, let alone a song
