  1. This is what the fans at Glastonbury will hear. I know, I know...a bit of wishful thinking with The Fly... and I was sorry to exclude Zooropa...and I've gotten rid of Crazy and MoS but felt they'd play a couple from NLOTH...and still feel the band will avoid Pop at all costs....and I wish there was room for BTBS and RTSS....and the encore is probably too long...and if two tracks from my list had to go, it'd be Stay and HMTMKMKM...and...oh, for crying out loud here it is:

    this is the most realistic i have seen, my only alteration would be ebttrt first with the fly second. great setlist rummy.
  6. Has Bono ever made a comment about the general negativity surrounding the move to the Netherlands? I'd be curious to hear how he responded to the criticism.
  8. Cause all taxes would go to developping countries

    What they basically did is change the tax laws so that only big artists like U2 need to pay extra taxes. They could just as well call it the U2-tax If they designed a tax for me like that I would also consider moving my business somewhere else too

    Ireland profited for years when some big companies put their HQ in ireland for the very same reason
  9. When you win a thousand millions, you can live without one million. That's all. Specially if you call yourself a proud Irish, and then you don't want to actually help your own country. It's pretty hypocritical.
  10. Sure everyone who is rich can live without a million But that doesnt mean you should make tax laws unfair as well. Plus as i said, Ireland brought in big money ~10-20 years ago by taking 'tax evading' businesses into the country.

    All i see is two hypocritic parties, Ireland for expecting U2 to swallow the bill while they ask companies from other countries not to and U2 for taking the ugly route to Holland (where they bring in money for the Dutch, thank you very much ).

    The easies solution is not seeing it as a big deal, happens every day. We all know we like to pay as less taxes as possible.

  11. In all honesty and truth, I don't. I heartfully understand that taxes are the main way to get a country running, and I really don't mind paying them at all. And if they're higher, I assume that will translate into a better service for us, in all levels (education, health care, security, etc etc). And I am ABSOLUTELY in favour of applying higher taxes to those who earn more money. Absolutely.

    Percentages are relative, the more you have the more you pay
