1. If it makes you feel any better, I would be in a similar boat about three and a half years ago.

  2. Oh, I don't feel bad about it at all It's actually something I like, having a great catalogue of a great band in front of me and not knowing all the songs by heart. It just means... great times ahead
  3. I'm sorry to say this on a U2site but...... Best Band Ever
  4. Just out. Without using hyperbole: best gig I have ever been to. Also, World Wide was not played. But three and a half hours. I'm ruined.
  5. Nice one, Kieran.....Glad you had a great time. I hope Friday is just as good.

What a great set - that encore was a beauty....as nice at it is to see they played Ghost, I still love the classics.
  6. Only one show left (Friday, July 11th):

    Ten-era - Breath (!)
    Vs. - Glorified G (!)
Vitalogy - Tremor Christ (!) ...and Bugs
No Code - Off He Goes (!), Habit (!), Present Tense (!!), Around The Bend, Mankind, I'm Open
Vitalogy - Faithfull (!), No Way, PMPM
Binaural - Nothing as it Seems - plus so many more!
Riot Act - Save You, I Am Mine - plus so many more
Avocado - World Wide Suicide (can I cross this one off?), Inside Job, and others I don't care that much about
    Backspacer - whatever
Lost Dogs - Wash, Alone, Brother, Dirty Frank, Fatal[/i]etc. etc. etc.
  7. Friday is going to be longer but I can't see loads of rarities being played.
  8. Breath, GG, Off He Goes, and Faithfull all must be played on Friday!

...and I can't believe all of the "hits' from the second decade that have yet to be played! No Save You? No NAIS? No I Am MIne?

Goes to show what an arsenal of song they have.
  9. 3 hours 20 minutes. Lol. Unreal
  10. Matt...watching these setlists unfold... How's Detroit looking?
  11. I'm trying to avoid discussing it in this thread - too much self-pity earlier.

That said, although it's by no means a guarantee, I don't think I can NOT go.

    I just have to decide:
    i) Do I buy one or two tickets? I am doubtful that I can find anyone to go with but I'd prefer it - if only for driving purposes. If I go on my own, I am renting a car for the day.
ii) Do I get tickets that are still on sale (generally, the ones at "the back") or do I go through Stubhub (booooooooooo!) again?
    and
iii) Which day of the week do I take off? Probably Friday - even if it's to simply sleep the show off in my own bed.

I gotta admit, not a day (no, hour) goes by that I don't consider the options about this show.

    I'm cursed.
  12. Haha. Go for it Matt! The only part I understand is not wanting to drive alone. And I hate stubhub BUT I'm getting my tickets through them. I'm not driving 9 hours to sit behind the stage.
