I prefer slow to start. Those are some of my fave songs in general. Release , Oceans, Long Road etc... BUT it's nice to see a change for sure.
  2. I don't doubt they'll bring out ONE slow tune to start (in the past they open with fast-paced ones less often than not). I'll just be surprised if they continue the trends from the LB tour.

But hey, if they want to open with Release and Oceans just one more time (in Toronto) that'd be fine by me. I'm aware that I've just made myself vulnerable with this comment.

I'm surprised they didn't opt to play two shows in one of the two places. Seems like much less hassle (at least in terms of stage set up) to play the same venue for a two-night stand as opposed to packing everything up and re-erecting it 28 miles away.

Must have been a scheduling issue.
  4. WMA tonight! Wow!
  5. And Corduroy / Do The Evolution / MYM / Save You as the opener quartet. That is some energy to start with!
  6. 1. Corduroy
    2. Do the Evolution
    3. Mind Your Manners
    4. Save you
    5. Pilate
    6. Dissident
    7. WMA
    8. Even Flow
    9. Infaillible
    10. Daughter (Tag : It's OK)
    11. Sad
    12. Down
    13. Tremor Christ
    14. Wishlist
    15. Jeremy

They're at it again. HOLY SHIT
  7. Nice way to start these two shows. Definitely looks like they don't need any warm up shows
  8. Spin the Black Circle (not usual so late in the set, right?), Black, Alive and Rockin' in the Free World to end. What an finishing quartet, almost as energetic as the starting one!

Also, a set without Better Man... That ain't usual either, right?
  9. Better Man will often miss a show if it was played nearby (or at the same venue) the night before. Same goes for big songs like RVM, Given To Fly (not this time around, however), and Jeremy.
  10. Rival was on the setlist as well but scratched and replaced with Tremor Christ. It seems from people who were there that the beginning of encore 1 was a real drag. They need to fix that part of the show. They have some great acoustic songs but they rely on the same ones in those spots. Awesome to see WMA and Soldier of Love making an appearance..
  11. And how could I forget.....ITS OK!!!!!!

Ooooh...I like RIval and it is very "due."

The three-or-so-acoustic-songs-to-start-the-first-encore strategy is probably getting a bit stale - and yes, if they are going to keep doing it, bring out the big guns. Although it hasn't been officially advertised as such (or has it?) it's the 25th anniversary tour so might as well get nostalgic. Everyone in the crown wants to!
