Why the change of heart? And I know it's a matter of opinion but I'm surprised you like Help better than Ghost off Riot Act lol. I also never like sleight if hand even thOugh I feel most PJ fans love that song.

    Ten is solid throughout...more cohesive.

Vs. is great - awesome - Daughter, G,o Animal, RVVM, Small Town... are spectacular but then there are a few tracks that I am not a huge fan of...not the case with Ten.

The reason for the change is that I have been listening to a an ungodly amount of Pearl Jam in 2011 - and I have been a fan (not a fanatic like now) since 1992. I suppose I have come to appreciate Ten's strengths (it also has better b-sides) and notice Vs.'s weaknesses. Still, I would put both albums on my all-time top ten list.

Vitalogy is in my top 15.

  9. VERY good point.

To be honest, I've probably been basing the majority of my rankings based on how much I enjoy the LIVE versions of these songs. Aside, from Ten and Riot Act, I haven't listened to too much studio stuff.
  10. odd that you or Nick haven't thought of giving different rankings one for live and one for studio hehehe
you must be true Letterman top 10 lists lovers, do you?
don't want to give you both "insane" thoughts though hehe
