1. and for Christmas homework ... here Vitalogy

    Immortality
    Corduroy
    Nothingman
    Not For You
Better Man (live gains lot of points)
    Spin the Black Circle
    Whipping
    Last Exit
    Tremor Christ
    Satan's Bed
    Stupid Mop

    Merry Christmas Jammers
  2. Like U2 and, to a lesser extent Radiohead, I rarely listen to PJ's studio albums so I don't even know if I could give a fair assessment of each studio album anymore. If I started listening to, say, Vitalogy, I would get through the first few songs and say to myself, "Why am I listening to something I've a hundred times when I could play some fresh live versions of these songs."

Thank god for all those studio albums but there's a good chance I am done with many of them.

  3. Just like Daughter, Better Man becomes holy with the crowd sing-alongs and its out-of-this-world snippet, Save it for Later. I rank it second on Vitalogy but if I did consider it live (which according to my previous post, I should) I may very well place it ahead of Corduroy.

    Buon Natale, Ronnie.
  4. that's so true .. i sometimes "refresh" me listening sometimes studio album.
i think that rankings can be twisted .. maybe .. thinking of some live versions of songs instead of others
  5. Hey, I JUST finished watching this on the 10c site!

When it comes to their first 3 albums, the bottom rankings mean nothing. I love whipping but enjoy satans bed a little more which puts whipping last. Great song though

Considering the lack of official live releases by U2,I listen to more studio work from our boys from Dublin.I love U2 live, and studio.PJs music, after Vitalogy, sounds much better live, and they have released hundreds of live shows. So,for me it a no brianer.

    Merry Christmas everyone.....
  8. I tend to I listen to a lot of audio rips from their (U2's) DVD catalogue but I suppose I have many more options with PJ.

Merry Christmas to you too, Matt.

Don't get me wrong, Satan's Bed is a decent song...it's (to me) just not as good as the other nine.
  10. Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays everyone!
