1. I do like PJs slower tunes. As well as Whipping and Animal.Depends on my mood. But,like the band,I like the slow tunes>into the harder songs.Of The Girl live has such a great groove to it.Nothing As It Seems and Sleight Of Hand have alot of energy live. The guitars, when they come crashing in,sound great.

Cool man. How great was it when they opened in Newark with Of the girl? Lol. Great groove.
  3. What's left to rank? I think just avocado and backspacer.right? Lol
  4. Backspacer

    Unthought Known
    The Fixer
    Amongst the waves
    The end
    Just breathe
    Got some
    Gonna see my friends
    Force of nature
    Supersonic
    Johnny guitar
    Speed of sound

  5. Rank the live gigs I just posted..LOL..Chicago is the best, followed by the Ice Bowl, then Detroit IMO.

    The 3rd leg has many,many great shows.The 3 I listed,plus St Louis,10.11,Las Vegas 10.22,Los Angeles 10.24,San Diego 10.25,Fresno 10.27,San Fran 10.31,Boise 11.03 and the 2 Seattle gigs.

Listen to those gigs when you can......
  6. I heard the Chicago gig and it's a killer show but never listened to the other 2 i will def give those shows a listen
  7. Avocado

    Life wasted
    Comatose
    marker in the sand
    gone
    world wide suicide
    Severed hand
    inside job
    army reserve
    come back
    unemployable
    Big wave
    Parachutes

    I'm not counting wasted reprise
  8. Anyone notice the lack of b sides post 2003? Are they holding back for a future rarities release? Is Ole considered
a b side from the backspacer sessions?
  9. Hate to say it, but "Ole" is b-side "worthy." Whipping's lesser cousin. Not too sure where it's from.

If Im making a live mix ,of older songs,I try to listen to versions as close to the release date as possible...but,thats just me...

IF/WHEN YOU GET A CHANCE, can you give me recommendations of versions of the "perfect setlist" songs I used (plus maybe a few others) from the 2000 North American legs? One day I'd like to put something together using these shows. I believe we discussed your 2000 European selections a few months ago and I just might work with those, too - in a different mix. Sadly, however, no "In My Tree" or "Breath" during that leg.

Here's a reprint of the songs to consider:
    1. Release
    2. Corduroy
    3. Animal
    4. Hail, Hail
    5. Do the Evolution
    6. Not For You
    7. Dissident
    8. Once
    9. Immortality
    10. Faithfull
    11. I Got Shit
    12. Wishlist
    13. Off He Goes
    14. Given to Fly
    15. Even Flow
    16. Rearviewmirror
    17. Elderly Woman Behind the Counter In a Small Town
    18. Jeremy
    19. Daughter
    20. In My Tree
    21. Last Exit
    22. Porch
    23. State of Love and Trust
    24. Nothingman
    25. Better Man
    26. Black
    27. Go
    28. Spin the Black Circle
    29. Alive (Seattle, N2)
    30. Indifference
    31. Yellow Ledbetter

    plus...

    32. Oceans
    33. Garden
    34. Breath
    35. Crazy Mary
    36. Whipping
    37. Tremor Christ
    38. Long Road
    39. Habit
    40. Red Mosquito
    41. Sometimes
    42. Lukin
    43. In Hiding
    44. Brain of J
    45. MFC

    Binaural?

  11. Avocado

    Wasted Reprise into...
    Life Wasted
    Severed Hand
    World Wide Suicide
    Inside Job
    Gone
    Parachutes
    Marker in the Sand
    Army Reserve
    Comatose
    Come Back
    Big Wave
    Unemployable

It's actually not a bad little album, it's just that its heavy hitters don't pack the wallop that those from their other albums do - and (IMO) it has a couple of bona fide stinkers on it.

Ole is a stand alone single. Its available on itunes. So yes,I would say its a solo single.
