EDIT: Apparently I've passed that terabyte. I'd say I have 1,2TB. Plus what's probably something like 140GB on DVDs.

My laptop is relatively old - only has about 200GB memory.

Anyway, a TERAbyte, eh? That a heck of a lot of stuff. I have to admit, however, I burn a lot to CD for storage - I have to until I get a new computer. I can always rely on filesharing sites to store the music for me....right?
  2. So when are they releasing the 2011-09-11 Toronto show on CD? I know they gave it away digitally but there's still no "hard copy" for purchase. Maybe it'll get some sort of formal release along with the Alpine Valley shows - it was THAT good.
  3. I have an itunes giftcard and notice that I can get the 2007 Lollapalooza show for $10. Dumb question: Is it worth it? I suppose I could put the money towards the Benroyal Hall collection.
  4. if the question is .. should i take Lollapalooza? then yes it's a "dumb" question
if it is .. should i take Lollapalooza or Benaroya? then it's not and the natural answer is take both! hehehe
seriously if i had to make a choice i would go for Benaroya
  5. now this is a collaboration as it it should be ...

Pete Townshend has confirmed that Eddie Vedder joined him on his cover of Corrina, Corrina
    here

also the album is something remarkable

I'm simply trying to pace myself here - I just got a hold of three gigs from Brazil! However, looking at that Lollapalloza setlist, it really is a no-brainer, isn't it?
  7. Im not computer savy to say the least, but for just PJ,on my new classic iPod,I have 1064 items (songs) 8.83 GB used...I guess thats alot huh.??.....U2...944 items (songs) at 8.10 GB..I guess I havent added enough U2 to my iPod (since I updated to this one last summer......)

Benaroya Hall or Lollapalooza 07.....I would go with B.Hall...Lollapalooza is very good...but pretty much a standard gig....there are many 06 shows that are better IMO....
  9. I working with very old ipods still so they don't hold that much. The"shuffle" I use on a daily basis only holds ONE gig of music so I update it a lot. The 8-GB nano is what I call an "our-pod" because I share it with the rest of my family, so it has a lot of my wife's music as well as my yound kids' - nothing like Raffi and Salsa Tots to brighten one's day!
