1. That's a lot of shows, Ed. I'm not sure I've listened to that many!

You've seen U2 43 times!?!?! Is your real name Willie Williams?
  2. now this is a list!
i saw great early shows and you great late (and not only) shows
amazing your personal 2000 tour indeed!!! on venue in common there
about Philly the rules of 2 consecutives wasn't enough eh!?! hehe .. all the 4 were great though .. but Pj tearing down the Spectrum for the last gig ever (by anyone) there it couldn't be different that something very special (Halloween stuff added hehe).
PJ boicotted Tickemaster for you and boicotted Europe for me (1998-2003)

about U2 i got some more than you (not many though)
  3. All great gigs....Yes,2000 was my favorite tour for PJ...My favorite tour for U2 is 1987,I saw them 10 times that year, and also 10 times on Zoo TV 1992....wild times.Cant do that much now..much older and married with 4 kids...lol
  4. Wrong thread I suppose but I'd like to see both of your U2 lists.

(I try to go to more concerts now that I have kids)
  5. Listening to the 2003 St. Louis show. Wow...Animal, Small Town, Go, RVM, Daughter and Indifference all played in the same show. Just for that I would give this an "Ed-Man" rating.
  6. I think my U2 gigs should be listed on my profile ...that St Louis gig is fantastic, opening with Present Tense, then closing with a 9 min Daughter and then the great Indifference....I think I did give that a must have ? we must go back and check then...lol... ..If not ,then it should be,great gig...
  7. I think the first MUST HAVE's from 2003 were the two North Carolina gigs - which means I've skipped a bunch of shows from the southern States (three from Florida, two from Texas, etc.) but I do believe you mentioned St. Louis - I probably wouldn't have downloaded it in the first place if you hadn't.

I'll say it again, the spring 2003 leg is awesome - I'm really enjoying the shows. Tonnes of classics and I'm getting a chance to listen to the Riot Act songs more frequently - and I'm only on my fourth show. Hopefully Champaign tomorrow (and Sunday) and then Cleveland to start off next week....THEN Pittsburgh and Philly.
  8. Nice...the Champaign gig is amazing,as is Philly and Pitt....enjoy Matt....
  9. I don't think you recommended the Cleveland show but I had to grab at least one that included "Can't Keep" - arguably their most underrated (and underplayed) song.
  10. True,I was going to use that version of Cant Keep, for the spring mix.But I went with IAM Mine,as the rare opener, and Cant Keep in the middle of the set.
  11. Matt, let me know when you would like a list of June 2003 boots, and a mix as well....

Ive actually attended 25 Dave Matthews Band gigs, since 1996.He/they tour EVERY year, and are simply amazing live.My 3 shows at Randalls Island,in Sept 2011..he played over 60 different songs, not one repeat in the 3 setlists. He also played an acoustic solo set, without playing any of the songs from his bands set..total 69 different songs for the 3 gigs,1 solo set.......very impressive...
