Anyone got an idea on how to get that Champaign gig in lossless? The mp3s on pearljambootlegs.org are only 128kbit/s. I really would like to give that gig a listen.

Thanks! Yeah, I've found that site. Unfortunately the links are to Megaupload, which as you know has been shut down. Know any other place?

I might be wrong,but I believe the downloads on pjboots.org are the same kbps (downloads), as the ones that were sold in 2003 on PJ.com.I bought the cd from that gig (from PJ.com),I ripped it to my iPod,and it says its 256 kbps (VBR).But then again,I think all of my songs are 256....

Im clueless as far as sending files and all that computer stuff.Flac seems like a hassle.I just buy cd's or mp3 downloads,and rip into my iPod.

Maybe Matt can help you.If not,I can rip/burn the show from my cd, to a cd-r and mail it to you.

Sorry, not off hand. As per our discussion about disc space last month (I don't have that much) I stick with mp3 files. I'll have a look around but I have a feeling that you've already done more than what I would be able to do.

May I teach you? Mailing stuff to Sweden seems pretty overkill. Or I could just live with 128kbit/s.

My question is,does it really sound much better from 128 - 256 in mp3 ?

I checked to other PJ sites,they are also in megaupload...

Flac seems like a pain in the ass....but,as I said..I dont know much about it...
