    I suppose the amount they still play songs from Ten, Vs, and (to a slightly lesser extent) Vitalogy shows how they cater to what the fans want to hear - while still incorporating a few rarities and newer songs to appease the hardcore fans.

I bought the Lima download tonight from PJ.com...insane gig...11.18.11..........32 songs....stand out tunes so far...Why Go,Hail Hail,IMMORTALITY,Even Flow,Not For You,Lukin,Better Man,Black,Blood,Jeremy,Porch,GIVEN TO FLY,Alive,RITFW,Indifference and Yellow Led....I played the show 2 times already....CLASSIC....
  7. They really did bring it to SA last year, didn't they? So many shows with 30+ songs - and lots and lots of hits.

    I'm really curious about what they'll do this upcoming summer in Europe. Will they test out any new material? Backspacer will be three years old so will they feel the need to keep playing (great) songs like "Just Breathe" and "The Fixer" or will they rotate them more and bring out a few songs from, say, Binaural and Riot Act, that were shelved in 2011? We'll have to wait and see, I suppose, but I pretty sure I'll be collecting those bootlegs!
  8. who knows probably some new songs will have a try in some show, as they're saying lately there's quite a bunch almost ready.
    don't see them much together in the next future .. maybe just Jeff is at home in this period hehehe
    they don't need much time for rehearsing anyway

    Its really too bad that Riot Act didn't take off. It's a very solid album from start to finish. Unlike the previous three albums (No Code, Yield, and Binaural) which have one or two clunkers, Riot Act doesn't have any songs that I would classify as a dud.
  10. I never really got into Riot Act...You Are,Thumbing My Way,Cant Keep,IAM MINE are my standout tunes..rest is good/decent,but whith PJ,I expect more than only 4 top tunes from a release....
  11. IMO,Pearl Jam (Avocado) and Backspacer are much better....
  12. Hmmm....we'll have to agree to disagree here.

    I just can't get into "Avocado." It's not an awful album but there are too many songs on it that just don't do it for me - and, unlike Binaural and Riot Act, I listened to it - repeatedly - upon its release in 2006. I tried to really like it but I recall saying to myself, "Why am I listening to this when I could just put Vs or Yield in my CD changer?"

    Backspacer, although "only" three years old, still needs time to grow. I'd say it has four classics (Unthought Known, The Fixer, Just Breathe, and The End) while the rest is good - just not great.
