Sure...just as long as it doesnt interfere with Pearl Jam...in this case,Im not so sure................I would hope, that the BAND is the priority..and not solo projects....

  2. I think (hope) that will happen...I often ask myself, why not just do a full scale tour of Europe,Canada and the US.....in ONE YEAR...than take a couple of years off for solo projects...

They prefer to do small mini tours as a band,..then small mini solo tours each year....the band havent toured for a few straight months since 2006...

2009 was the oddest "tour",as Backspacer was released in Sept, and the band only did a few weeks on the road after its release to promote it.....they then, took 6 months off,and toured again in May of 2010.....only for a couple of weeks....

I was more thinking of the band members' private lives than solo projects I'm sure the band is his priority. Otherwise he could just do a European tour all by himself, and that's not what he's doing.

I understand, and of course thats fine...I know they have families and such,as do I....thats why I said why not take a couple of years off..do a solo cd (he did),tour (he did),do other solo projects (Brad,Soundgarden)..IMO,that makes alot more sense than tour for 3 weeks,stop..tour again for 2 weeks..stop for 6 months...tour again for 3 weeks..stop..etc......

EV is doing another solo tour,as he did last year in 2011,during April and May in the US.He could have toured alot more last year, all summer, that would have made sense, since he released a solo album (Ukulele Songs) in the spring of last year, and PJ werent touring until Sept 2011....

  5. I agree..unless he adds like 5 more dates,it doesnt make sense...

  6. weird calling Soundgarden a solo (or side) project hehe
  7. Yeah. SG were really big back in the day and still have a solid following.

  8. True.....my bad...Soundgarden were a force in the 90's,and are still solid...............but Matt is more in PJ than Soundgarden right ? ...lol.
  9. Well, sort of... My first experience with Matt Cameron was with Soungarden - and he wasn't PJ's original drummer (not even around for the "big three" era) so I can undertand if someone says, "Matt Cameron is the drummer of Soundgarden" as oppose to Pearl Jam. However, I would gather his alligiance now is probably more with PJ (although he might not see it either way and just consider himself a drummer playing with difference friends at different times). Fortunately, rocks bands aren't like sports teams. you can play with/for more than one at any given time.

    Unless you're David Beckham.
  10. and also my next experience with Matt is going to be with Soundgarden .. so he's their drummer for me nowadays hehe
  11. I'm off this week (March Break) so I "get to" paint my den. On the plus side, I listened to all three of Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Dallas 2003 shows. Eddie's drunk in the first one (screwed up Last Kiss), hung over in the second (screwed up Given To Fly), and feeling much better in the third (no noticable screw ups). One great thing about them playing so many shows at once is that they'd mix it up quite a bit - they opened the Dallas show with Alive - not a bad start to a show, if you ask me.
  12. My Toronto Night 1 (2011) CD arrived in the mail today. Very cool to have one of these!

I'm not too sure if I'll ever open it (already have the digital download) but it sure is a nice keepsake from an awesome show.
