1. My favorites on Yield ATM are Given To Fly, Do The Evolution, Wishlist and In Hiding. Great songs.
  2. Those are arguably the best songs on the album (althoug I am a big fan of Faithfull).

Given to Fly and Wishlist were singles. Do the Evolution was a video single (PJ's first videos in years at the time) and if you listen to Live on Ten Legs, EV states, "This is a song that I thought would be a single" before breaking into In Hiding.
  3. Wishlist is something I wish I had written. Not that song precisely... But the Wishlist theme is simple brilliance. I'll probably write my own Wishlist song some time. I thought of writing a song like that before I knew of Wishlist the PJ song.
  4. Admittedly, I didn't Wishlist at first - found it a bit too subdued. However, after listening to the lyrics a little more closely, I really begain to appreciate the song.
  5. Wishlist was recored like that Matt....dull,low..Ed mumbling...ala No Code...live,of course it sounds great. The guitar riff jumps out,Eds voice is clear, the drums sound clear.....if it was recorded loud and clear...it would have been a huge hit.....I guess Ed was against that....en route to Ft Lauderdale..at least the New York Mets are in Florida...too bad EV cancelled....
  6. I think the subdued mood of Wishlist fits the song very well.
  7. I have really been enjoying the 1995 Washington remaster - thanks for bringing it up earlier this week, Olof. Depsite it missing a few of the "hits," their perfromance is awesome and the sound quality is incredible.

It's also interesting to hear them address the replacement of Dave Abbruzzese for Jack Irons on drums.
  8. Watching the 2012 Toronto II DVD I mistakenly downloaded thinking I was downloading night one. Go sounds good.
  9. Admittedly, I never got around to downloading any of the videos for those shows - but have listened to them a lot.

Those two Toronto shows are great ones.
  10. Yeah, I enjoyed it a lot. Very nice show. Very good setlist.
  11. Have you listened to any other Canadian 2011 shows?
  12. Nope, don't have any
