1. interview with Matt
What about the new Pearl Jam Album? When can we expect it?
We’re going to finish recording this fall. We had half of it done, and then we decided to go back and do some more writing. We’re going to do publish it at some point in 2013, but I can’t look that far into the future

quite right in the context of what we said yesterday
  2. Binaural second last in my top list (if bound to do) .. followed by a great tour (with a sort of breakpoint in their life/career) with one of their best shows i attended
uhm same as U2 in those years .. great correlation between the bands in those years hehe

    first ukulele there
  3. Binaural is a "mixed bag" in terms of song quality (and diversity, I suppose). Of the the 13 songs on the record, I can say that I like about seven of them, think another four are just okay, and am not a fan of two of them.

...and then there's all of those outtakes (found on Lost Dogs).
  4. let me try to guess ....

Breakerfall, Nothing as it seems, Sleight of hand, Insignificance, Of the girl, Grievance, Parting Ways

Thin air, Light years, God's dice, Rival

    Soon forget, Evacuation

This album isnt on my top list either but there are a couple i will always love
(Nothing as it Seems, Of the Girl) are two of there finest "darker songs"
i enjoyed that tour for all the boots i bought(30 plus) plus Charlotte 2000 was
first time i saw them live.
  6. VERY close, Ron.

I am a big fan of Light Years (the radio play back in 2000 probably helped) but not so much Sleight of Hand.
  7. Matt..I have been listening to Montreal for a couple of days now,I will post the encore review tomorrow....I have been tied up with the NY Rangers/NJ Eastern Con Finals.....I will be in MSG tonight.....

I pray the Swede,King Lundqvist, is on..or we are doomed....
  8. Keep those reviews coming...

I'm hoping to "release" the Canada 2005 mix on July 1st!

(That's Canada's "birthday" for those of you who don't know.)
  9. survivors of Mad Season (Mikey and Barret Martin) at the Showbox yesterday

  10. It'll be tough to replace Layne Staley's voice - maybe they can get the new AIC singer to join in.

  11. no thanx! hehe
not that i have something against him but i never saw him in the right way .. mostly because for me there are no AIC without Layne .. it's like PJ without Eddie, Soundgarden without Chris ... GNR without Slash and Duff ..

true is that Mad Season are a different thing hehe
  12. ...U2 without Bono...Oasis without Liam (well that's happened a few times - with mixed results)

I find it difficult to think of any given band as the same band when they have to replace any key players - especially the lead singer. I can't imagine anyone other than EV belting out songs like "Alive" or "RVM."
