1. Decent? Yes. Deserves to be played almost every night? No.

Olof, I'm concerned for you in that they are playing "Once" too much too soon and will be done with it by Stockholm.

However, I've been wrong (may times) before.

Love the song but don't like it as an opener.
  4. Well... I think they like playing some from their new album... And The Fixer was the first single to... So it might be recognized by more in the crowd. PJ's sets are great, they can play The Fixer.

It'd be very nice to get Once in Stockholm, but it's not THAT important

And yeah, Elderly Woman doesn't work as opener... They should have turned the Montreal opening trio around... Hail, Hail as opener.
  5. Although I appreicate them starting with something "heavy" like Go or Corduroy, I appreciate the build up that songs like Release or Sometimes brings to the show.

"Small Town" is too much of a "campfire singalong" for it to start a show. It works best about half way through the main set.
  6. Ten songs that still need to be played:

    OCEANS
    GARDEN
    Breath
    Leash
    SPIN THE BLACK CIRCLE
    Whipping
    LONG ROAD
    IN MY TREE
    SOMETIMES
    FAITHFULL
    Grievance (new)
    Light Years (new)
    Habit (new)
    No Way (new)
  7. Yeah, slow songs that built energy are great as openers, but as you say, Small Town doesn't do that.
  8. setlist .. Jeff handwritten this time

it's not that they have to promote the album 3 years after its release (if they ever did ..) .. they could easily play more often other songs instead like Supersonic, Force of Nature .. The End
same goes for Just Breathe .. which i love

what you mean with "crowd"? casuals? i think they recognize far way more Alive, Better Man and Just Breathe itself rather than The Fixer

i would really love if they opened just for once with Lukin ... in transition to Not For You

Well, they play Just Breathe all the time too Yeah, casuals. Last time I checked Alive and Better Man aren't from their latest album.

I think it's a bit of a prestige thing for a band to play songs from their latest album. Even if it's a few years old.

  12. yeah it can be prestigious but there are some other songs in the album that can be played some more time instead of Fixer .. and Just Breathe too yes
