1. I only started listening to them because of your endless discussion in this topic. Prior to 2012, I'd only heard one or two songs from Ten and that wasn't because I went looking for them either. Now I have four albums, always keep an eye out for them in music stores and have a list of bootlegs to download/listen to.

U2start had to be good for something I guess.
  2. Thats good..so this forum has been good then....PJ always need new fans....LOL
  3. I didnt know where to post this,so I figured Id post it here.

Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Kanye West and Jon Bon Jovi have signed on to the "12-12-12 (A Concert for Sandy Relief)" benefit concert at Madison Square Garden.

The Who, Roger Waters and Alicia Keys will also perform at the Dec. 12 fundraiser for the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which will aid victims of Hurricane Sandy. More performers are expected to be announced soon, along with ticket and broadcast information.

"'12-12-12' is shaping up to be a showcase of music royalty," organizers James Dolan, Madison Square Garden's executive chairman, Clear Channel president John Sykes and The Weinstein Company's chairman Harvey Weinstein said in a joint statement.

"The response from the entertainment community to help those most affected by Hurricane Sandy has been nothing short of astounding ... We are confident that the event will ensure those in need will not be forgotten," they said.

The event is being produced by music industry heavy-hitters Clear Channel Entertainment, The Weinstein Company and The Madison Square Garden Company - the same companies who banded together to organize "The Concert for New York City" benefit after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Long Island native Joel, New Jersey's Springsteen and Bon Jovi recently performed at NBC's "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" telethon, which raised $23 million for the American Red Cross' Sandy relief efforts.

To be honest, I don't think I recorded the shows for these mixes. Tsk, tsk. However, I think a lot of the performances are from more recent shows (2008-2010). For this reason, I will have to post the link in a PM.

  9. ^Obviously MSG 2008.

I suppose one could also amke an argument for the version in that 1996 Berlin bootleg. Some nice early versions of No Code there.

Tim, you must look into the "JWB Pearl Jam Remasters" series. If you don't know about them (although I have a strange feeling I've posted about them before) these are PJ bootlegs from various shows in the 1990's that sound FANTASTIC. There are about 15 of them to keep you busy for a while. Admittedly, however, there's not too much variation in the sets for the 1992 shows. However, Atlanta 1994, Melbourne 1995, Berlin 1996, and either Melbourne (again!) or Seattle 1998 are definitely worth listening to.
  10. By the way, pearljambootlegs.com lets you download individuals tracks so if you're on the fence about the versions of the No Code songs in my mix (which I will eventually PM you) you can listened to Ed's recommendations.

The 2000 tour is phenomenal. Just be aware that the sound level on the Euro boots is much lower than that of the North American ones.
