1. I see your point...although Unemployable and Big Wave never went down too well with me, either.

When do you plan to listen to the next show (Albany)?
  2. Id say on Monday or Tues...It easier to listen to gigs during the week, when my kids are in school...I rip the disc's to my iPod,and listen as I go for a jog downtown.
  3. That's a long run, Ed.
  4. LOL

I do a good 60 min run..thats usually good for the main set....with my Bose headphones,I can really hear the gig so clear.

Toronto N2 was 3 disc's..the encore was great...solid show..I just dont like Marker at all,and Unemployable is boring.Sad is much better IMO.

I wish Eddie wasnt such a hypocrite.Like most liberals, their actions are not consitent WITH THEIR CLAIMED BELIEFS.The unemployment rate in America is at all times lows, and has been for years under the Obama administration.PJ have performed this tune 3 times since 2010..I wonder why ?

How come Eddie doesnt bitch about the gas prices in America anymore ?? As he did during 2008.

Oh,thats right..it isnt "cool" or "accepted" to rip Obama and tell the truth.

    Carry on.
  5. 2006-05-10 Air Canada Centre - Toronto, Ontario

Night 2 of the tour and mainly night 2 at a same venue and often this is a symptom that the crossbar is going to be raised to a different level.

Different gig other number to open, classic way to lead audience into the show this time .. Release.
I liked Severed Hand opening the previous night but this is really something different .. a little “shy” start by Eddie but as the song goes by he releases himself like the song deserves till the final scream of the audience. Quite good one even though better will come in the future (for example with me under a cool rain hehe but maybe it’s just me too biased on that or maybe not).

After the releasing moment the openers of the day before come in a sort of rotated mode with Severed Hand closing the 3. Soon it’s clear that some rust has gone and the boys tackle the songs throwing em to the already quite hot audience.

Tonight they decide not to drop down the temperature but to raise it a little bit more with a double Hail to the people, Eddie starting to stimulate them .. sign that the boys are really begin to enjoy the atmosphere.

Unemployable, drab song using a PJ unit as reference scale, and Dissident .. escape is never the safest path .. but really .. who wants to run away at this point?! Hehe .. and even just before .. this Even Flow!
Performance in great form, Mike is on fire like an our beloved irish guy would say of his guitarist hehe .. Stoney usual rhythmic made by jewels, Jeff and Matt with their impressive carpet of sound, Boom in the background fulfilling the whole, Eddie eating the mic and .. Torontonians .. grand when Eddie passes the ball to them! “you’ve already topped last night crowd” .. being very likely many of them the same people the band has his part in that Eddie, who, just to not let the fever down, drops the notes of Corduroy which flows in top class .. double knock-out punches.
A rest is needed now and good way to have it in acting a Riot .. love the album, love I Am Mine and this version.

Low Light comes to keep on recharging the batteries for another unexpected very hard lash shot by a treble guitars riff .. very cool improv that introduces Whipping. Load load load

Hard to recover and the boys have some difficulties too .. fucked up start of You Are hehe .. delighting beat .. makes me always lost.
We’d love to have some shit by now and here it is I Got ID quite good honored by the first uncle’s tribute moment with a nice Cinnamon Girl teaser at the end .. oh if only they cover it!!! it would be great!
but Eddie wants to full involve the crowd again and what an easier way than being a Better Man? Hehe previous night it was an outstanding and this time it’s no less i think.

Jeremy, Marker In The Sand, Black, RVM a long closing of the main set … what the hell Marker between those 2 superclassic songs? Climax whould have been too high without it? Hehe
I have to say that the main set goes to the end in declining .. very good Jeremy but then the band seems to be a little bit short of breath; Black (we’re used to very high standards but not this one) and RVM shows that a little break is needed .. better the Why Go of last night.

But they’re not done as the encores demonstrate; first one starts in a lovely juicy way .. Wasted Reprise-> Man of the Hour ..very very nice with a sweety Matt backing Eddie. Audience return joining the performance in full for a quite great Small Town before the rocking fever lever grows back up with another driving mad riff that throws people into a state of love and trust. A good evolution of the show at this time is to do an evolution .. and here it is a very good one. Alive closing this encore; it’s always an ecstatic moment but I found this one nothing special.

tough start for the second encore with a quite tug Go. Happy birthday moment for an Alice in Chains mate celebrated passing the bottle around … Crazy Mary and the duel is supplied, Boooooom and Mike on the spotlight with the others giving them a good covering of shoulders.
Little band intro (aside Stoney hehe) leads to a predictable and due tribute to uncle Neil but Fuckin Up this time .. great .. song and performance.

Double close for this great concert .. Indifference first .. lovely Stoney dropping jems all over the place .. magnificent song .. great to release emotions of the night .. great Torontonians here too.
Yellow Ledbetter to finally lead fans off the show .. with Eddie sings the first verses laughing a bit because of a banner that Ed would not have appreciated hehe
nice snippets of Beast of Burden at the end.

Very very good night .. a higher gear .. pretty great and long set, a couple of drop down but the perfection doesn’t happen so often. Half star added to remark the difference from n1 (I added it to this too  ).
I won’t be so good from now on hehe

Highlights: Even Flow – Whipping - I Am Mine – Man Of The Hour – Crazy Mary – Indifference

    Rating: 4 1/2
  6. Great review Ron,Matt as well.Should be fun revisiting this tour.I like that Toronto 2 really had a triple closer,Fuckin' Up,Indifference and YL.Encore was great, main set was good to very good.

    On to Albany...
  7. I've listened to it (Albany) - glad I didn't skip it like I originally intended to do. A very interesting setlist, if anything.
  8. No need to skip any gigs here Matt....its PJ isn't it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...lol
  9. We can pace ourselves...no need to rush.....id say by wed night though, we should be moving past Albany......that would be 3 gigs in 9 days.....

a great great setlist indeed, and your review made me go back and listen to it tonight! thanks alot!

  11. I received this from the 10 Club today..are they serious with this ???

    Happy 2013!

To kick off the New Year, Ten Club would like to introduce you all to our improved fan club ticket drawing system. We are excited about this new website feature and would like to invite all members active as of Sunday, January 6th to login and test it.

For your convenience you have one full week from today to participate in this test. The drawing entry period opens today, Jan 7th and closes Mon, Jan 14 at 10am pacific.

For this test, we created two faux tours to mimic how a Pearl Jam or Eddie Vedder ticket drawing would normally run. Just like a real fan club ticket drawing you will be asked to enter your credit card info in the billing section. Your card will only be authorized $1 for each of the shows you enter; however it will not be charged. The ticket test ends on January 14th at 10am Pacific. After that time your credit card authorization will be canceled and the held funds will be released back.

At the bottom of this email you will find step-by-step written instructions on how to take part in the new ticket system test, as well as a link to a “How To…” video. And there’s more…

    New ticket drawing features include:

    - Ticket drawing runs directly on the PearlJam.com site.
    - Ability to enter the drawing for shows in priority order (1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice etc.)

    - “My Tickets” page where you can view the status of your drawing entry at any point during or after the drawing.

    - Ability to cancel or edit your drawing entries before the deadline.

    Win Some Rare Merch!

To make this fun, we have included some rare hard-to-find merchandise items that will be given away during the test drawing. Once the drawing entry period has ended, the new ticket system will randomly draw one name for each of the 8 shows entered. Of those 8 winners, each will receive one of the merchandise items listed below assigned at random.

Mad Season re-issue 10” on purple vinyl (1 winner)

    PJ20 12” on colored vinyl (2 winners)

    Patagonia Refugio Backpack (2 winners)

Benaroya Hall Box set (2 winners)

Backspacer 12” on white vinyl (1 winner)

Step 1. Visit pearljam.com and login to your membership account.

Step 2. Click “My Account” at the top of the screen. On the drop down click “Ten Club Tickets”.

Step 3. Read all the information on this page including the drawing rules for each tour, and then select a tour you would like to attend.

Step 4. Click “Choose This Show” for each show you would like to attend in order of priority then click “Continue”.

Step 5. Review your drawing entry selections and edit if necessary.

Step 6. Fill in the billing information and click “Submit My Entry”. You will be immediately directed to a page confirming receipt of your entry. You will receive an email confirming your drawing entries and you can also view your entries on the “My Tickets” page.

Step 7: You are all done. On Monday, January 14th at 10am Pacific the ticket drawing will close. Once names have been drawn the “My Tickets” page will be updated to show which shows your name has been drawn for. Also, you will receive an email confirming that info along with a feedback form. Please be sure to fill this out and let your voice be heard!

    Note:

    - To go back and enter for a second tour click “Upcoming Shows”.

    - Review your entry at any time by Clicking on “My Tickets”.

    - Cancel your drawing entries on the “My Tickets” page by simply clicking “Cancel”. An email will be sent to you confirming this cancelation and release of funds back to your card.

    - Don’t forget to check out the ticket drawing FAQ

Please direct your questions to tickets@tenclub.net.

We thank you in advance for your participation and feedback.

  12. Heres my feedback:

There's a "how to" video ? are they fucking kidding me ? I think I know how to order tickets.Holy shit. Its their shit system that breaks down when you try to use it.

The 10 Club should just go to the Warehouse (dave matthews band) and see how to distribute tickets...

U2.com runs smooth,as far as ordering tickets. Not one issuse with them....I dont know why PJ has so much trouble with this system...

The best part,I get my tickets to see PJ from TICKETMASTER....lol..

Since 2005,I have been shut out 90% of the time, when trying to order tickets with the 10 club.Since 2000,I have been shut out one time (Bklyn 12.21.12) by the Warehouse, and at that show, someone actually gave me a free GA ticket outside the Barclays.....
