1. ^It's so true. I'm just finishing up the Virginia Beach show (YLB playing) and there really hasn't been any songs I wanted to skip.

    I will miss "Alive," however.
  2. I feel the same way with the 2003 tour.I did not like Riot Act at all,and of course hated Bushleaguer.

I attended the "infamous" Nassau show,04.30.03.The show was fantastic, until that "encore".I left of course.I was done with PJ after that abortion.I was fucking furious....I wont go into one of my prolonged diatribe's.

I will say this,if it wasnt for Chris (the Brit),I would not have attended the 2 classic MSG shows in July '03 and I would have no question been done with PJ.Im glad he talked me into going,as he flew over with his family from London, for 3 weeks.I was vexed, but I wasnt going to screw my good British friend.
  3. ...and you enjoyed the shows, right?
  4. I'm listening to the Charlotte, NC (2000) show now..."Even Flow" sounds/sounded really good in 2000.

  5. The MSG '03 shows ? Yes,they were fantastic. After the uproar in Nassau,Stone and Mike hit the airwaves, to calm down some of the PJ fans, who had walked out of the Nassau show.I believe Stone said "That won't happen again." The band had a "sit down" with EV Im sure.

All I know is this,EV didn't try any of his bullshit at the Garden.

I cooled off,and that was that.

Do you want to review these 2000 shows ?

They are far superior to the 2006 gigs IMO.

That In My Tree from 08.06.00 I listened to just yesterday.

Yeah, I'll review them. I suppose I shouldn't get too ahead of myself in terms of listening. As I said earlier, I plan to keep my reviews a little shorter and than the ones I've been giving - I felt I was being too repetitive. Instead of going though the entire set, song by song, I think I'll simply mention the highlights (with some detail, of course) and, where necessary, low points. I will also give an out-of-five-star rating. I'll spoil the plot on my first review: Virginia Beach gets a five from this guy. Great, great show.
  8. Do you still want to finish leg 1 of NA 2006? All my reviews are done but there's no need to do something you're not interested in.
  9. Yes,lets finish 2006,there are only a few shows left.We can stop after my 2 E.Rutherford shows.

For the record,I really liked the 2006 tour.It just wasnt as good as 2000 IMO.
  10. They are both great tours. The performances of the 1990's songs are solid on both tours - although you get a little more variety in the 2006 tour since songs like Why Go, Glorified G, Blood, Rats, Leash, Satan's Bed were all played in 2006 but not in 2000. However, the Binaural songs are way better than the "Avocado" songs which gives the 2000 tour the overall advantage.

Oddly enough, Deep wasn't played once during either tour while Breath was just played once in each. Both were played quite a bit in 2003, however.
