1. Read that Mudhoney is going to open in Portland
  2. Well maybe I'll get a second crack at them (Mudhoney) this time around.

We were running late back in 2011 and missed them - this is the first time I've admitted this for fear of Ronnie's wrath!
  3. I've just listened to Immortal in shuffle mode, and I've thought (again!!) that it always reminds me to The One I Love by R.E.M. Here's a mashup:

  4. You're so right, sir. I just didn't want to make a typo and write "immortalyti" haha
  5. Are you reviewing the "edits" again, Sergio?
  6. The 2000 and 2003 boots are now available on iTunes......they don't appear to be remastered or anything.

I would be careful posting links on here , as they are for sale for the first time in ages...
  7. The vault shows are for sale as well....

    Well that kind of sucks.
  9. Actually, I think its kinda cool that they are on sale again.

I wonder if this will have any affect on some certain sites ?

These shows haven't been available for over a decade or more. As far as I know the 2000 boots were only available in stores, in cd form. Thats how I bought them back in 2000 and '01.

I remember Tower Records, in the Village ,had the entire Euro leg on sale in the front of the store. I went nuts, and bought close to 10 shows that day...I think it was 8.

The 2003 gigs just never caught my attention, as the 2000 shows have.....Im not so sure why, maybe because I just didn't like Riot Act and the 2000 shows have a lot of tunes from the first 5 releases etc .....

For me, as with U2, Radiohead, DMB etc.. the older the show the better it is....
  10. I appreciate your point, Ed, but I think he official sale of these things would be more meaningful if they were in CD format. The digital release seems like a money grab - and a way to put "heat" on sites like pearljambootlegs.org.

Good thing I've already downloaded all of these shows (aside from the vault releases, anyway...and the 2013 SA shows)!

I too prefer the 2000 shows - so many great performances of so many songs. The only thing missing is not enough performances of Alive (for understandable reasons, however) and a few gems from Ten and Vs weren't played.
