I've heard a few more songs, but not the entire soundtrack. I love Society though.
  3. Just watched Pearl Jam Twenty and I loved it. It's a great trip through PJs history and it was really nice to see how they turned from a grunge band into one of the best bands of todays music.
  4. what're you guys' favourite album by them? I've just started to get right into them

Ten, their debut album, is the best. Closely followed by Vs.

Good to hear that you are getting into them!
  6. welcome on board

seriuosly i think the best way is to take a chronological path (as Kieran knows well)
  7. Yep, I took the chronological path. Still haven't listened to Pearl Jam and Backspacer yet, but that's because I'm too hooked to live shows at the moment.

  8. All agree that you definitely have to start with their first three albums. I would also add that you should give a listen to songs like "Yellow Ledbetter," "Breathe," and "State of Love and Trust" which are non-album tracks from the Ten era.

Good luck getting back to studio albums. Live is where it's at with these guys.

To be honest, I can count on one hand the number of times I've listened to Backspacer in its entirity. Not because it's a bad album but due to the songs sounding so much better live.

Do you have any of the 2011 Canadian shows? PM me if interested.
  10. thanks for the advice guys i'll start where it all began for them
  11. definitely Vitalogy, the sound of Pearl Jam shredding its grunge-skin to become the iconic band they are today.
