I worked in Long Island fir 3 years and without stern I woulda went insane. He kept me sane during all those drives back and forth! I still listen constantly but damn he saved me during that time! Rangers are looking better! We'll see.. Can't wait for our captain to come back. Anyway back on topic!

    PJ are amazing.

  3. Sounds like a great idea. We probably won't have these 2013 shows on boot for a while so why not go way back!

  5. Nick, I know you're joking but I definitely need to recognize your contribution to this thread and my own fandom of PJ.

  6. This very true but his avatar always makes me think of the two big bands in my life.

Plus he started this crazy thread in the first place about 2 and half years ago!

there is no way I would have had Indy 2003 on today...not to rub it in, but it was sunny ,80 degrees today in southern Florida...I was poolside with the wife and checked out PJ Radio just as the Indy gig was starting....after about half the show I went for the East Troy gig. as my wife had had it with PJ lol..she put on King Animal !!!!...

I had not heard those 2003 shows in years Matt..

About a year and a half ago, I listened to about 40 of them in about a month. I think I've listened to only a few of them (Toronto, Montreal, MSGx2, Mansfield 3) since.

  8. Although they aren't nearly as old, I have been listening to the 2011 Canadian boots all weekend.

  9. I also mention Ron's name (I know he'll read this tomorrow) because I feel like he deserves to see these guys ASAP. I feel bad that we've been all celebrating our shows of 2013 and he really has not had an opportunity to see them in well over seven years!

They'd better go to Italy in 2014.

    (And then Toronto)

Sirens is a tough one. I hated it a first - I honestly felt, musically anyway, the band had really dropped the ball - but began to appreciate the lyrics and the chorus.

Nowadays (less than a whopping month since I first heard it) I can take it or leave it. I can appreciate its appeal but I also understand why it wouldn't do it for someone.

I like your comparison to "Boots," Sergio. That's another song I had to almost of force myself to like - something that I tend to do from time to time with bands I have listened to for a long time.

It doesn't really work for me all that often - at least I the long run.

I hope they never play Boots again. EVER
  12. Pearl Jam have easily the coolest, greatest official show posters I have ever seen.
