  1. Listened to East Troy '03 again today....really love this gig..the main set isn't the best ..but the band are just on this evening IMO...

    Sometimes > Corduroy is always a blast out of the gate..Faithful, Immortality Deep and a rocking version of You Are are the highs in the main set, until an epic run of Better Man Jeremy Even Flow and Daughter end disc 1...Daughter is short (only 4 min!!!), but solid.

    Disc 2 kicks off with RVM, Go, Animal, Small Town and Glorified G....Better Man > Glrofied G is just an insane run....Go > Animal is fucking off the charts, I would have freaked......Bushleaguer (sans comments from EV) is entertaining but kills the run, Evolution picks it back up...Riot Act is my least favorite release by PJ, and disc 2 features only the one tune I mentioned..so I like that......

    I havent listened to these shows in years...the band really sound great ..Breath > Crazy Mary is awesome . Breath is of course the rare gem pulled out for this show and this version is really nailed....my big complaint with this show is all the covers....6 ??? thats ridiculous IMO.. Beatles cover is great of course. I could do without Miracles, Know Your Rights > Fortunate Son..EV must have forgot Alive, as its a no show this evening, and would have been welcomed over those 3 covers..

    I of course could do without his rambling 5 + min speech before Hide Away..holly shit wtf is he talking about ?? here is a bit of it... “Power to the people man…. The real people, the people that work, not the people that sit in their towers, and try to run the whole thing, thinking that we’re too stupid to notice what they’re doing! They get us in our little holes, and our boxes, and our cages and they show us American Idol and American Gladiators and American …. blowjob, buttfuck, whatever.   4. Great news!! Although "in June" and not "in Summer" got my hopes of a Spanish show down. I will definitely be down for San Siro if it happens. See you there (you too Kieran)

  6. I'm going to Download for the day. Depending on how cheap flights and accommodation is, I might even trip to Milan.

  7. pearl Jam are pushing this album heavy so I think they will tour a lot next year.
    I think Us in spring makes since before summer in Europe. They didn't even go to Florida on this last leg or Atlanta which makes me think they will be back around March.

  8. At least from Spain, flights to Italy and concretely to Milan (and Bologna) are the cheapest among the cheap. And acommodation for 1 or 2 nights can't be a lot. I'm definitely going for this - unless the tickets are like 80€ or so.
  9. £90 return Edinburgh-Milan return. Not too shabby.

  12. if San Siro is it will be the only date for sure so a good amount of attendance is guaranteed .. not sold-out probably but who knows they're having a good promotion here
    maybe they start not selling the 3rd ring and see what happens
