1. Can't wait for the bootlegs - PJ seems to always be in top for in the UK. Love the London 2000 shows.

I love (and am jealous of) how the UK (and parts of the continent, too) has so many major festivals in such a relatively small area. Being from a vast continent has its disadvantages - although Ed seems to manage.

LOL...you just got some amazing shows in Toronto Matt....I dont know if they can top N1 Toronto..N2 is very good as well.Plus dont forget they hit Toronto in 2009....But yes,NYC and London seem to be a popular destination for them.

  3. I guess fall 2012 N.America..2 nights at MSG......
  4. I'm just hoping PJ makes a grand return to Sweden. It has apparently been a while. Hope it makes them extra pumped.

I hope your right! I get so excited just thinking about 2 nights at MSG!!

  8. As we know,PJ love playing at MSG.I just wish they would play more nights.Ill say this, there is so much demand here,in the Metropolitan area,we got the "extra gig" in Newark,NJ,05.18.10.A very solid gig, that I attended of course. It flew way under the radar, with the MSG shows looming. The crowd was a bit "quiet" though.EV mentions this, saying "Its a little quiet, but I understand, its alright."

They played some rare tunes that night.Opening with Of The Girl,Brain of J,Alone,Immortality,In Hiding,Brother,Glorified G,Leatherman,Lukin>Once,Footsteps,Inside Job,Go,Jersey Girl,Whipping,You Are,Indifference and closing with Watchtower.

Maybe, we will get another gig in Jersey, in 2012,after the MSG gigs sell out in seconds,again.......
  9. ...
  10. Night 2 was the best show IMO but the setlist in NJ was the best out of the 3 shows. Seeing Brother and Alone was unbelievable. We will def be getting together when they come to the area
  11. True.N1 was amazing as well.If the Newark gig was at MSG,it would have had a different feel.Even though Newark, is only a few miles outside of Manhattan,its.....well.....it aint Manhattan... now is it !!!...LOL
  12. I just watched the first 15 minutes of PJ20 again, and I've just realised that it's very difficult to watch the start. Although Andy Wood was a decent singer, and very charismatic, he was irritatingly arrogant. You can tell he is the kind of guy that, if he survived well into the 90s, would've been hated by Cobain. It's good that Vedder isn't arrogant, and is everything what Andy Wood was too. I personally think Mother Love Bone were mediocre, and would've been completely drowned by Nirvana in the grunge movement. Listening to some of the stuff on their album, it sounds weak.
It's also hard to watch because of his death. I mean, looking at Chris Cornell and Jeff Ament being so upset about it was just difficult to watch again. Once you get into PJ20, you start to really enjoy. I just cannot enjoy the Mother Love Bone bit though.
