They may get bored with certain songs and want to switch things up/try new things. Not necessarily the sound of defeat in my opinion.

Wow, we just said exactly the same thing
  2. Speaking of defeat, I'm off for tonight. Hopefully another surprise pops up unexpectedly for you guys. Night all!

  3. Night Nicole, good to have you around for the better part of the evening
  4. but which NLOTH songs will make it to the next tour - if any?

  5. Hahaha, right on Although you really explained it well. Amen to your last paragraph. Everyone who wants to complain about the setlist/tour should read what you said.

  6. I wouldn't be surprised to see Boots and Magnificent on the next tour.

  7. I only really see Boots sticking around, but who knows. Annnnything goes...

I think it was fairly obvious that COBL and Vertigo were the only ones making it out of the Vertigo Tour. SYCMIOYO had a chance, I suppose, but those were the only two immensely solid songs on the tour that had the perfect mix of popularity and live pop.

Agree about Vertigo and City. I doubt we'll ever hear SYCMIOYO again. I remember at the Grammy Awards in 2005(?) when they won for that song, Bono said something to the effect of, "I've been singing and screaming about my dad for the past couple of years. Maybe this means I should let him go."

  11. the only one i would think will stay is moment, unfortunately. the band love that song

  12. You got it! That's not the exact quote...can't seem to find the damn thing anywhere. Could've sworn there used to be a YouTube video of his acceptance speech. Oh well, that was the gist of it anyway from what I remember.
