1. Markings like what?
  2. could be things like an addition to a track that is undetectable to our ears, but when looking at the waveform of the particular song in a audio editor it can be seen to mark the recording as your own.. that's how i would do it
  3. Ah.

I guess the other question I have then, is, why do you care so much? It sounds better. Isn't that the goal? If you want the credit for it, request that...but why get upset over something that you've worked on now sounding even better than it did before? Aren't we all here to hear the bootlegs as best as they can sound?
  4. cause it takes a substantial sacrifice both economically and personally for a taper to get a recording like that
  5. i don't blame them for being shitty one bit
  6. Fair
  7. and, in a sense, i guess it's just like you or I getting a u2 track, doing a little bit of EQing here and there and then posting it out there on the internet claiming it's our own.. do you think u2 would mind?
  8. Completely different. We're all here manipulating something that's not ours. If Nuno was the one who performed the material that's being bootlegged, then yeah, whatever. But the way I see it, we're all taking something that isn't ours to begin with and altering it to listen to.

I guess that's why I roll my eyes at all the taping drama. Yeah, it takes a lot of work, and a lot of time, and in most cases a lot of money- but nobody's asking you to do it, and you don't have any obligations. The material you're taping is bootlegged- the sole purpose of that activity being sharing what you're hearing. To be upset over not getting credit is ridiculous; if I read you Huck Finn out loud, you'd still give Mark Twain the credit in the end.

Something similiar was done and it's enough for us to detect.

It's simple, the person that uploaded this "new" version should have asked us to do this BEFORE he upload, since we were the real original tapers and never did, in fact he claimed as his recording, LIED. You think it sounds better? I don't...my advice for this kind people is...if you want to remaster something do to your own stuff or ask us before you do anything if you want to use our recordings. Or keep it to yourself the remastering stuff that you "think" is better. There was already one remaster done in the original recording so more remaster on top of it doesn't make sense.

OK, I 100% believe you and therefore the recording is gone from our tracker and deleted Sorry by the way It seems that the "best IEM ever" title still belong to you
