1. Just saw what I wrote. I wanted to talk about Stay. Don't know why I wrote please

And yeah, I think that's the reason. Well, I can't think about any other reason...
  2. interesting setlists these, love aiwiy but i cant help feeling sorry for these audiences in north america. last year in europe we had variety and a full barrage of new unreleased songs that have now all gone into hiding.
  3. another show I completely didn't think of being happening, woops missed all of those US leg shows so far....... shame how's it been?

    Sorry?
We waited 2 more years for them to make their second round and the band has been in top form for every single show that has been played in North America.

I'd say that we North Americans are grateful to have the band playing here at all, especially after all the drama with the back surgery.

Regarding the setlists, if you look back to two years ago, we would have never expected EBTTRT, Zooropa, AIWIY, and HMTMKMKM to be played, but here they are being played in amazing form. I'd say that most North American fans are as happy as they can possibly be.
  5. I'm glad for those who stayed here last night, the stream was really high-quality according to U2gigs Glad they sang Happy Birthday for Amnesty International, although I don't like that Happy Birthday is almost becoming a setlist staple... hahaha

    Agree.

And this guy agrees also: http://www.atu2.com/news/8-new-things-on-the-u2-360-tour-2011.html
  7. just a statement and curiosity .. how many shows or events in a year they have in Winnipeg or nearby? i only know the U2 show during Popmart .. i don't think that many but maybe i'm wrong.
and what they do? a protest before the show and make it stop in advance for a curfew .. come on for 10 more minutes ...
sometimes things make me quite puzzled

  8. Just read this article and I have to say that it makes me even more stoked to attend my first U2 concert ever. Definitely going to be stocking up on merch, since I doubt I will get the opportunity to see them again. I thought the LED jackets are new, and personally, I like them. A lot. The fact that U2 has seemingly dropped the Blackberry logos for the One Campaign and Amnesty International is actually huge for me, since it reveals a lot about the band. It shows that while the band is being supported by Blackberry, they are passionate for global causes, which to me separates U2 from every major act out there. The Aung San Suu Kyi video message is also huge because it also reveals the band's passion for global causes. I guess the message can be compared to a viewer friendly version of the video feeds from Sarajevo during the ZooTV tour. Instead of making the fans feel uncomfortable, it makes them feel accomplished, knowing that they have been a part of something big. The switching of the masks to the lanterns further highlights this. But lets face it. We were all creeped out by the masks. The lanterns are a great alternative. And finally, spend an hour cleaning the GA line for a free ticket? Where do I sign up!

More reasons to love this band.

  9. No MOS......... that would get me seriously depressed if I were at that concert..

    curfew?

  10. Appaently so, since it was on the printed setlist

  11. I don't think it's the GA, I think they clean the queue and the streets surrounding the stadium? Anyway, what a great way to earn a free ticket
