1. I think the curfew thing is stupid, why dont that just come on stage 7 mins earlier and play MoS?

Plus they played a song from every album, except POP (although it was snippetted)

They may have just misjudged it and thought they could fit everything in. Obviously not.
  3. Too bad they probably won't play any Pop in North America They might bring 1-2 AB songs cause of the remaster and thats about it

  4. fair point, I'm with you.
  5. Yes. They know perfectly that their 23 songs set last between 2:05 and 2:15 (counting on a long presentation speech AND Moment Of Surrender), so the "Oooh, we didnt know! Sorry" argument is not valid. They could have came up the stage ten minutes earlier and play the whole set. They didn't do it just because they didn't want to. Simple.

In some sort of sick way, by playing the same fucking setlist in back to back concerts, U2 brought an American (me) and a Belgian (BelgianBono) together. It doesn't matter what they play, they are the greatest. Amen, and goodnight.

    Holy words

    They are indeed.
I can complain about the setlist and all, but when I hear songs like Stay or All I Want Is You, that all fades away.

With Moment it would be a 24 setlist (:

  8. Love is Blindness is shorter than MoS, should've payed that lol
They could always take out a song like Stay or one of the rotational songs to make time for MoS

We waited 2 more years for them to make their second round and the band has been in top form for every single show that has been played in North America.

I'd say that we North Americans are grateful to have the band playing here at all, especially after all the drama with the back surgery.

Regarding the setlists, if you look back to two years ago, we would have never expected EBTTRT, Zooropa, AIWIY, and HMTMKMKM to be played, but here they are being played in amazing form. I'd say that most North American fans are as happy as they can possibly be.

True.My point is this. The band did play new songs last summer in Europe. Some gigs had as many as 4 new tunes in the set. Now,they are gone. Why ? Bonos back surgery was May 2010.He was fine 3 months later, for the opening gig in Turin. The new songs made the 2010 shows different.I certainly expected to hear those songs this summer,or other new songs. Now,they are just playing a rotation of older songs.Again, why drop Mercy,North Star,EBW,Stingray. How about a couple of songs from Spiderman ?

As far as Edge saying this leg is drasticlly different from 2009,I do not agree at all.I believe Chicago,Toronto and NJ are the only cities the band played in 2009.If you look at the setlist from those 3 cities, then look at lasts nights setlist, its very similar.16 of last nights songs the band played at my show 2 years ago.16 !

Once the band get to COBL,the show is on repeat.Last night, many hardcore fans "signed off" (as i did),because of this.

Im seeing the band 4 times this summer.Im very excited. No question.2 shows in Montreal. Im sure will get a set like last nights, since they havent played there, same goes for Philly.Im fine with that.I will have a great time, on that road trip from NYC, with my family.

But,if the band play last nights setlist,at my NJ show,I will be very dissapointed.MLK switched with Scarlet,Batman with UV.Thats a drastic changed, in the second half of the show, from 2009? ZERO NEW SONGS ? I would love to ask the band, why they decided to NOT play the new songs. The 2010 European Tour is one of the bands best tours. No question.Because of the new songs. We had no idea what they were going to play each night.

Its very early,I know. But so far,is the 2011 North American Tour one of the bands best ? Or is it 75% the same, as the 2009 North American tour.I say we need the RETURN of the stingray guitar. We will see.
