They may have just misjudged it and thought they could fit everything in. Obviously not.

In some sort of sick way, by playing the same fucking setlist in back to back concerts, U2 brought an American (me) and a Belgian (BelgianBono) together. It doesn't matter what they play, they are the greatest. Amen, and goodnight.

They know perfectly that their 23 songs set last between 2:05 and 2:15 (counting on a long presentation speech AND Moment Of Surrender), so the "Oooh, we didnt know! Sorry" argument is not valid. They could have came up the stage ten minutes earlier and play the whole set. They didn't do it just because they didn't want to. Simple.

With Moment it would be a 24 setlist (:

Sorry?
We waited 2 more years for them to make their second round and the band has been in top form for every single show that has been played in North America.
I'd say that we North Americans are grateful to have the band playing here at all, especially after all the drama with the back surgery.
Regarding the setlists, if you look back to two years ago, we would have never expected EBTTRT, Zooropa, AIWIY, and HMTMKMKM to be played, but here they are being played in amazing form. I'd say that most North American fans are as happy as they can possibly be.
