    How about any band that is popular around here? I have no idea which bands are included in the list but bands/artists like The Beatles, Lez Zep, U2 (obviously), Radiohead, Coldplay (gasp), Oasis, Pearl Jam (O-) ), Muse, and Bruce Springsteen seem to create a lot of discussion around here.

    [EDIT] Found the cover...all the artists I mentioned off the top of my head are listed (along with Madonna, Blur, The Smiths, Bowie, and Kate Bush) except for Pearl Jam. What a shame...I have a feeling they aren't as big in the UK as they are here.

    By the way, that was an awesome post Matt. Though I am one of those people who still believe that they are the greatest band in the world. However, I'm not one of those weird musical idealists who believe that the only good music came out in the '60s. That's ludicrous. There has been good music & bad music throughout history and there are a lot of artists from the last 50 years that I really love and/or admire.
