1. In four years, I only managed to hit 5000...but Olof has his own thread in GC, so he'll reach it in no time.

Ahhhhh, speaking of concerts - went to Suzi Quatro here on Friday night. One of the best shows I've ever been to, fifth row from the front, the very side. Photos here. One show to go for the rest of 2011, unless I go check out a pub band or two.

Actually, that sounds like a great idea.

In about 9 months, you've got 5426 posts. In about 4 years time, I think you might have 30,000 posts

Sergio actually hit something like 9000 posts in nine months. (I once read a post where he said he had become a The Fly, posted only like 9 months after his account was created).

Wow, Olof, I'm surprised you know that. You really do need to get a life!
  4. Indeed Sergio did. He's always been a great poster here - and I think he registered before me, so he should have more posts anyway.

I found out when I searched for something U2 related on Google, and our lovely forum came up.

Nope. I registered 5 or 6 days after ya! But I was very active from the beggining. I soon became a crew member, started to police the forums, then became crew manager and all that stuff. My post amount is more than understandable
  7. 5 or 6 was it? So long ago, what 2006? That time has just literally flown....can't believe I was 17 or 18 when I first registered here.

The sign of a good place is you keep coming back, like it's a priesthood - and u2start has definitely done that and more.
  8. GREAT.

I went to collect my Arctic Monkeys ticket and hell, what did I find? A show from the Texan post-rock band Explosions In The Sky, which I love (read, watch and hear more from them here, for the next 4th of November. 22€. I couldn't resist myself, and scored one ticket too.

So... In less than 2 weeks, I have gone from this...

PS. It seems that Spain is now somewhat of a non-existant-place regarding international rock concerts.

seeing cold chisel (a big aussie band) this weekend
and then next weekend seeing pete murray (an aussie solo artist)

then the fooies on dec 10
  12. Thinking of getting a ticket to Chisel. Really thinking...know who their support act is?

As for 'you're about to see', in under seven hours will be Thirsty Merc supporting Meat Loaf at the Entertainment Centre. That should be interesting.
