they say they're hoping to get a new album out at some stage, and they've definitely been working on new material.
  6. this is a very good news
let's hope it will take a shorter time than that spent between the other albums
  7. off to see shaun ryder in a couple of weeks, should be a good laugh.
  8. Saw The Blackout last night, along with We Are The Ocean. Almost got to the front row at the end. Besides, it was mental.
  9. Care to share a few Best-Of songs from them, Kieran? The only "Blackout" I know is the Muse song

  10. I don't really know if you would like them, because they in the genre of 'post-hardcore', but I would give them a try. A few of my personal favourites are: Children of the Night, Higher & Higher, This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things, It's High Tide Baby, Ambition Is Critical, Save Our Selves & I'm A Riot, You're A Fucking Riot.

That was the 4th time I've seen them (twice as a support band), and it's probably going to be the last because they are starting to get worse live, although they are still good of course.
  11. I liked Nice Things and Ambition very much. Riot is too hardcore for me, and havne't had time to check the others. I smell some My Chemical Romance and maybe some FallOut Boy over there, me likes. But I won't become a fan I'm afraid. Too noisy for me
  12. Nice Things features the lead singer of You Me At Six. I'm A Riot is absoutely MENTAL live, possibly the most insane song I've ever experienced live - like the first I saw them, there was a circle pit that evolved into a mosh pit and the place erupted. The mosh pit was massive, and the biggest I've ever been in.
They do have influences from Lostprophets, and several other bands like that. They supported My Chemical Romance early this year when I saw them.
I thought that you wouldn't become a fan But it's good that you liked some songs at least. I'll say something though - they are a great live band.
