1. There is a slim possibility that a small amount of tickets are put on sale at last minute but I wouldn't always bet on it.

I tried searching for 'bombay bicycle club dublin' on Twitter in case anyone was selling tickets because they can't go. It looks as if people are more desperate for tickets than selling tickets. I really couldn't think of anywhere you can get tickets at a cheap price and knowing you would actually get the tickets in the end.

You could always go to the venue before the show and see if any of the bastards, sorry I mean scalpers, are selling their tickets. Watch though: they will charge astronomical prices before doors open but they start getting panicky when showtime is approaching. The prices lower and might get near enough to face value. So I think going to the venue is your best option.
  2. I mean trying to get a ticket on hand, not from the official sellers but from someone who has a spare, etc., that's what I meant. I hadn't think of twitter, I'll give it a try. Thanks Kieran
  3. Gaslight Anthem was good last night. They skipped "The 59 Sound" on the first two shows of the tour, but played it at ours (the third), so that was cool.
  4. I love The 59 Sound, glad you got it at your show
  5. Two gigs this month (excluding unsigned acts). I'm seeing My Bloody Valentine on Saturday which I'm unbelievably excited for. It's also at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. On the 22nd, I'm seeing Palma Violets in Edinburgh. Only cost a tenner for the ticket and their debut album is pretty good. Also, I've heard their live shows are riotous so I'm pumped for that too!
  6. Never heard of Palmer Violets, going to check them out tomorrow. Congrats on getting to see MBV...hoping I get the opportunity this year.

Muse, tonight. Not terribly excited about the drive to and from the show, but it'll be fun.
  7. wife bought 'us'/her TRAIN tickets??.. don't know about this....
  8. Muse - 04.16.13 - Madison Square Garden,NYC

  9. **Biffy Clyro

Somewhat cool group. Check out "Mountains".

  10. Scottish band, very popular in Britain. Actually starting to headline festivals here now. Can be a little overrated, however. To add to what Matt said, listen to 'That Golden Rule', 'Bubbles', 'Boom, Blast, Ruin', 'Get Fucked Stud', 'Black Chandelier', 'Stingin' Belle' and 'Modern Magic Formula', plus some older stuff from Blackened Sky, The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land. Supposedly quite a good live band.
  11. Plus, I don't even know if I'll be going to see My Bloody Valentine. The guy I was supposed to go with pulled out then I tried getting someone else to come with me to which two other people then let me down. Sigh, I really want to see them and I really don't want to sell my ticket.
