The guy I was supposed to go with pulled out then I tried getting someone else to come with me to which two other people then let me down. Sigh, I really want to see them and I really don't want to sell my ticket.

    Two options:

    1. Do you want to see them badly enough to pay double the ticket price? Buy someone else their ticket.

    2. Go alone. Seen plenty of fest sets on my own and wouldn't trade them for a shittier show just to have been with a friend. I also had a friend drive a few hours on his own and see a show completely by himself...he loved it. Didn't have to worry about anybody else.
  2. Have any of you guys seen Frank Turner?

If so, you lucky bastard(s). I would really like to see him before the year is over. Hope I get the chance. He put a new song out today and it's great.

I had a ticket to see him alone in Dublin, back in December 9th (booked flights, bought ticket); I couldn't make that trip so the unused ticket is here in my room; I would like to get it signed some time.

I also had a ticket to see him, supporting the Dropkick Murphys, last month; I couldn't make it either due to a more interesting last-minute plan (going to the Cadiz's carnivals), but I sold the ticket to a friend.

So, Frank has scaped me 2 times already. There won't be a 3rd, I swear.

    +1 to option 2

That first option was something I was considering. The ticket was £30 but I might just lower the price to see who may come with me.

I would love to go alone but it's in Glasgow and I would have to come back that night as I have work the next day. The Barrowlands isn't actually in the nicest of areas too so me walking 25 minutes from the venue to the bus station at 11pm on a Saturday isn't that great an idea.

Funnily enough, I turned down a ticket to see him late last year because I didn't know any of his material. Annoyingly, I started listening to him after that and he's brilliant. I would love to see him at one point.

Also, I could be seeing Foals right now
  7. I hope I get to see Foals at Coachella. New album is good.

  8. Definitely. I will make sure I see them at Leeds Festival. Yes, I'm going this year, for sure!

Forgot to mention the time he came to Madrid but I still didn't like him, like Kieran. I started listening to him after that first time, which was mid-2011 I think.
