What's been up Drew? Been a while
  2. Had a good weekend (actually, a great Friday - Saturday) with much fun, a lot of drinking, karaoke and a really sore throat to compliment it.

Also moved into my new room - I finally have space to actually do things.
  3. How did the karaoke go?

I attended the best concert that I've ever been to Thursday.
  4. I wanted to get up there and sing but my throat gave out entirely and couldn't sing.

    This was the Ark show?
  5. Yeah, it was amazing.
  6. The going away show / farewell show? I read you were looking forward to it.
  7. Yeah, they're quitting in three weeks, was their last concert in my city, the second biggest in Sweden, and a city that I think is very important to them. Was epic.
  8. It's sad when a band quits or stops making music - 'specially the ones you really like and enjoy. But as long as they don't go off on bad terms, then usually it's alright. It'd have been great to see.

I've had this bad throat for about a week or so, tonight it's the worst it's been though. When I woke up today I couldn't even speak without coughing and it's just painful.

  9. They're quitting at quite a young age, the singer's 34. He said in a TV show that it was because they just felt that the energy they used to feel in everything they did is disappearing. They want to end on a high note.
  10. Watching a video on YT of the last song, my favorite, so epic.
  11. That's the best way to end it. If you feel you're not hitting as well as you used to, no point to keep recording and keep churning out crap as some bands do - who are well past their prime.

Yeah, these guys are an amazing band, and should quit as one.

Wouldn't mind a reunion if they feel the energy coming back though

I really wonder what the singer's gonna do, he's a marvelous frontman and you can tell that he's so in love with being on stage.
