  2. You can upload to Imageshack without having an user, and photos can't be commented or rated - they're just hosted. On the other hand, in Flickr your pics can be commented and shared, it's more social-user oriented. That's why I chose Flickr over Imageshack for sharing my Dublin pictures

    Yeah, I've used ImageShack a bit, will probably upload a few pics to Flickr now though, just because it's easier
  4. I fucking hate when idiots decide to chuck all their shit in your room, effectively contradicting my ideas for what I wanted - my shit in my room. Not a dumping ground for their shit.
  5. Fair enough, each to their own. Got a friend to turn their opinion of U2 around the other night, that was cool. Here was the magic formula:

    1) Play through Still Haven't Found, Streets, With or Without You, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Vertigo, & I Will Follow...this was "to get a feel for how U2 sounds", because the radio hits are the only ones they are familiar with.

    2) Remind the subject that the last thing the public had heard from U2 were the likes of Desire and Angel of Harlem, Streets, etc.

    3) Begin Achtung Baby

    4) After the initial shock of Zoo Station wears off, move on to The Fly. The subject will already be slightly impressed with how badass this music is compared to the "pussy crap" they are used to hearing from U2 (Beautiful Day, etc.)

    5) Pause The Fly halfway through and insist that they never lost those balls. Tell the subject that what you are about to play is the same song they just heard, ten years after the release date of Achtung Baby, and play The Fly from Elevation-Boston. Subject is wooed.

    6) Continue to play The Fly from Vertigo-Chicago. My particular subject's jaw had dropped at how consistently different/still fucking amazing the song sounded.

    7) Repeat with virtually every other good U2 song ever. My roommate, at this point, had come in the room, queued up the Rose Bowl blu-ray, and told the girl I was with that "This was what made him buy his U2360 tickets and turned him into a serious fan", and we watched "City of Blinding Lights", "Streets", and UV.

  7. I love when they think the best stuff U2 ever did was in the 2000s and 80s. Prepare to have your mind blown with the 90s!

  9. One of my favorite pop songs came out in the 90s. Doesn't sound like something he'd do (song-wise), but he did. Don't judge it before you listen. Also, they're not even offensive or shocking lyrics.




    This is a perfect example of why the 90s was amazing.
