  1. No, SYV is a person that is there to help us choose.

    International Baccalaureate is an international program that exists all over the world. Studies are done in English. I think you get to be an exchange student though.

    To help us choose for uni or college, we have depute headteachers, guidance teachers and LEAPS.

    (LEAPS is something that can help you with getting into uni, and getting your entry requirements lowered).

    Personal statements are the worst things to do. I can't even think what to put on those things, let alone actually make up something and write it down. College is what it's called in the US as well isn't it?
  9. Yep, I'm in my last year of high school. It then goes straight onto university (or college).
  10. Ahhhh yes I know what you mean now. My sister did the same, went right from finishing high-school and then straight into uni.

    I figured a job was easier and more straight-out.

    Ok, in Sweden we have "Gymnasium" after primary school, we gymnasium starts at ages 15-16 and ends at 18-19.
  12. A few of you may remember a few weeks back, I said I has reached the point in my life where I could make peace with my past and get on with my life. Having a weird fascination with numbered list I have made one of the things I intend to do to make that goal a reality.

    1. Get and shape, and lose weight (not specifing how much).
    2. Find shitty job, to last through college.
    3. Get drivers license, and shitty car.
    4. Go to shitty college.
    5. Have massive party, and tell everyone who didn't believe in me to fuck off.

    Also, not important, but I intend to learn to play the guitar, and maybe take some singing lessons.
