    Can't you attempt to make a copy on the computer and burn that to a blank DVD? Then again, if you're having playback issues I suspect they'll transfer to a copy as well. When you get your new Slane, make a copy Then you can just burn through cheap DVD's.

  6. Yeah, the entire island is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. So the nature must be pretty amazing.
