How are you doing? School okay?

I'm alright. School is fine, currently in the top year, so we have all the respect from teachers and stuff It's difficult, but I'm getting along relatively fine.

What are you studying at the moment in school/university?
  2. I think I'll try to be quick with the packing and then listen to Ten. I prefer having my first-time listens in the very nice stereo in my living room and really listen to the record.

I think I'll read a lot on the plane, since I'm reading a very good book.
  3. Classes I'm taking now include stuff like "gender across cultures", some basic statistics class for my math credits, an English course (composition), advertising history, and Italian (language). Loved being in the top year when I was back in high school- best thing ever, all that respect

I'm also in the top year, I love it as well.

Italian, one day I will learn that language.
  5. Tricky stuff, but I've also always been completely horrible at other languages
  6. Beautiful language, regardless
  7. Totally agree with you on the last sentence. Last year of High school was great, we went to Barcelona and had so much fun there.
  8. Sounds pretty good what you're doing.

In the last year of high school, did you have a common room? In other words, a room that just the top year went into?

I've always been pretty good at languages. I study English, German and Spanish apart from Swedish. (Everyone studies at least English+Spanish/German/French/extra English) My native language is the only one of those where I don't have the top grade
  10. Unfortunately not really, though there were definitely socially-designated areas that the seniors (that's what they call 'em here) congregated. We also got the lunchroom for a full hour, while all the other years had to file in and out halfway through an hour. Was nice to be the big tables still sitting down while the young ones had to pack up and go back to class.

We had plenty of special things solely to ourselves, though. Sections of the risers that only we were allowed to sit in during assemblies, first pick at most things involving signups or buying tickets for things at school, etc. Was just a really nice time.
  11. Ha, instructor just started a video. Like she expects me to still pay attention to this.
  12. That sounds quite good. The top year are always treated very well, and I like that.

We get a common room, which is basically the size of an ordinary classroom, but there's table, chairs, lockers and a board to stick stuff on. It's quite boring, but you get the great independence as a year. It means we don't have to sit downstairs with all the younger years.

We also get a designated part of the library called 'S6 Study Area', except no one really studies when they go there.
