1. I was so amazed with Streets and the crowd at Slane, how big it was, how they all jumped, everything. It was mostly extremely fascinated with all of it.

One of the first live performances i really dug also.
  3. I consider U2 one of the two bands that I truly found redemption in the music and lyrics of. The other band would be The Who.

  4. I've been a U2 fan for almost 11 years now, all started with Beautiful Day. Me and my brother became fans around the same time. After that, we just bought everything. I remember sitting at the TV watching the Boston DVD as a 7 year old, constantly repeating The Fly, because it's just outstanding.
  5. When I started listening to live U2 (Rose Bowl etc) I had a very hard time accepting that Bono didn't sing like the studio versions, and that it just wasn't like the studio versions that I had memorized in my head.

    Now I love live.
  6. I instantly thought live was better than studio. The minute I switched on Elevation Boston. I thought that Elevation was mental. It took me a few years to accept that the Slane version is better.
  7. I want my new guitar now.
  8. How odd, for some reason I can't access the site in Firefox but I can Internet Explorer.
  9. I can't access it in Safari, but I can in Firefox.
  10. Just totally weird. Seems when Livetopics goes back to 'Oldskool', it's when some browsers and different OSes have issues accessing the site.
  11. Haha, my English teacher has twitter. Wow, he's such a legend. Best teacher I've ever come across.
