1. Yeessssss. I tried one there, with another finish, but I kinda wanted this one.
  2. I think I could fly over there and back for less than 100 euro
  3. It really looks cool, well done on your purchase.

Was just checking out flights for Dublin - $2300 from Australia. I could easily do that if I save. Also if I can get people for Christmas and birthday (my birthday is April 16, incidentally) to put funds towards the holiday instead of buying presents, I might even be able to go longer. Two weeks in Dublin - fuck yeah, or even longer.

    You thinking of going Olof?

I'd like to, but it's kind of a big thing to do.
  5. Sure is but you only get a few opportunities to do things like this, especially given it's a fan fest and all.

You reckon your parents might be alright with it? My mum is kinda a little freaked out but she said you may as well, only get opportunities rarely.
  6. And you're eight years older than me!
  7. And you're younger, lol. But yeah, I'd be a little bit cautious myself; hell even now I am with this. Still gonna see what the very best deal is and then grab it - if I can get 2-3 weeks at an absolute minimum for next to nothing (well, international-next-to-nothing, like) then I'm gonna take it while it's there. But then you gotta plan passports, insurance, hotels etc, all that and more which is the real fun part.

I think it's gonna be great; get to meet a few of the u2starters here that I've spoken to for so many years, but never actually met them.
  8. That thing about meeting U2starters is what makes me want to go as well.
  9. As long as they're there, that's also a reason for the trip, as well as seeing how different it is to Australia.

I've never been outside of Australia so it'll be like a real freaky thing for me thinking ''Wow, I'm heading to Dublin!''
  10. Never been to another country?? Well, I guess Australia's pretty big.
  11. Yeah, I've been to Melbourne (that was for U2 last year) and Brisbane (well, the Gold Coast). Those are the only two I can remember.

Planning on 2012 being my year of holidays - first I'll take this one and then next up will either be Melbourne, Perth, Sydney or Tasmania. Not yet decided though I said to my friend we should check it out for a week or so.
  12. Ok, I've been to different places in Sweden, been to Denmark, Norway, Iceland, different Spanish islands, the Azores (Portugal), Crete (Greece), and Cyprus as a little kid.
