  1. Crete was very nice as I said. We stayed in a hotel right by the beach in a beautiful village close to Chania, the second biggest city on Crete. There's a real nice atmosphere on Crete. We visited Knossos, an ancient temple/castle that was pretty cool, also a beautiful beach on the southern side of the island.
  2. I've heard of Knossos before somewhere, don't know where but I do remember thinking it looked lovely. Sounds like a great place to check out - might have to on my eventual world travel.

  3. Also, Greece cuisine is very nice.
  4. How much does Australians now about the ancient Greeks? Crete and Knossos was very important.
  5. Heard that a few times actually. I was almost going to try it just this weekend gone. Any recommendations?

    I'd say they'd know a fair bit about Greece, but then again you never know. This is just my presumptions.
  6. Well, barbecued/grilled and not lamb.
  7. I'll keep it in mind. Love good grilled food.
  8. Not lamb is just because I don't like lamb, many people do.
  9. I don't mind lamb myself, but yeah not everyone's taste. A lot of people just won't try many things.

    That said, I'm not the type to eat just anything but if it looks good, then why not.
  10. Well, some grilled Greek food is usually excellent. My favorite restaurant in town is a Greek one.
  11. I will definitely have to try it now. I gotta be heading off, and good chat - and as soon as I can, I'll finish your DVDs and then send them off to you - at this rate, it looks like Friday or Monday they'll be sent off.
