1. I just want to know how the heck "Magnificient" is (or at least was) in fourth place!

  2. LOL same, that's the only song that i don't really see as being the best live song from NLOTH, let alone 4th place on this

Guess I'm the only one here who sees the magic on this song...

i like the album version best but LOVE the intro, after that it seems to never be as epic as the album version imo ;X

I really like Magnificent. The remix was a little weird for me because I was wondering why they wanted to fix something that wasn't broken to begin with. I think the best performances were back in the opening leg of the tour when Bono would flex those opera chords during that gap before the Edge's epic solo. I remember that opera section would always send shivers down my spine.
  6. I think Magnificent was alright on the album, but it never went anywhere live. It was too slow.

People should vote the rare ones, because those are the ones who should get released, because it hasn't been giving out yet.
Get some new stuff instead of songs we already got like 23434535 thousand times on cd's and bootlegs

  9. I read that article. I don't know...her list is a bit "out there" for my liking. Also, the fact that she disses Pride but still included NYD and IWF on her list seems to be a bit of a paradox. I think paradox is the word I'm looking for - just woke up.
  10. I guess I'm the only one that doesn't care about this fanclub release.
  11. Well, here are the picks of a man who we should know and love around here - The one and only Willie Williams:

The Return of the Stingray Guitar
Even Better Than the Real Thing
    Breathe
    Get on Your Boots
    I Still Haven't Found
    One Tree Hill
    No Line on the Horizon
    The Unforgettable Fire
All I Want is You / Love Rescue Me
    Beautiful Day (with Mark Kelly)
    Your Blue Room
    Unknown Caller
    Zooropa
    City of Blinding Lights
    I'll Go Crazy
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    Scarlet
    Bad
    Hold Me Thrill Me
    Ultraviolet
    Moment of Surrender
    Out of Control

The standout track? 'Has to be Ultraviolet. Listen carefully enough and you can almost hear the mirror ball...' (from U2.com)

Willie's kinda right about 'Ultraviolet' when you think about it...

  12. Anyone know the current standing?
