Each song is therefore going to be separate songs with crossfade. So it's not a question of seeing the songs together etc. We have good recordings of Spanish Eyes & Party Girl through bootlegs created over many years. I agree, it would've been nice to see Your Blue Room, No Line On The Horizon and Electircal Storm released but I didn't vote and everyone who did, didn't vote for these.

If you read underneath the list it says "the tracks will be sequenced".

I voted, and voted all of those rare tracks, Still the final result is fine with me and if seqenced correctly into a 360 style set list it will actually be a good listen, therefor i'm looking forward to it.
lets hope its the start of things to come, besides there is a lot of people moaning about the select tracks that are not even U2.com subscribers....STOP remember your lack of votes is what also made this album what it is.
  3. What does they exactly mean with:

U2.com says the tracks are "now being mixed and sequenced," which means this isn't necessarily the order they'll be on the final 2-CD set.
  4. ^Hopefully mixed so that the 22 tracks will feel like one complete show.

We all hope that, but I wouldn't count on it. There's always Nero SoundTrax for us, though
  7. at the end of the day, nobody can be happy with everything BUT it was a nice gesture letting us vote and the overall results are pretty much fantastic

    Indeed.
  9. Im VERY pleased with this release. As a longtime fan,I take what I can get live (on cd) from U2.They have never really released live material on cd,as say PJ or DMB.That has always been the case.It is what it is.Bad,The Fly,UV AND Zooropa made the cut,Im very happy with that.

Mercy (and MOS) were already officially released live, on Wide Awake In Europe, and Crazy was released on A.Horizons,so those tunes obviously can be mixed in with the other 22....

Plus, you have the Rose Bowl DVD, with quite a few tunes that didnt make the cut on this release (Boots,ISHFWILF,No Line,Uknown Caller,Vertigo,SBS,MLK)....its very easy to get an audio rip of that show..and then mix in a few of those songs..with the 22 plus Mercy and Crazy Remix....at least thats what Im planning to do......

  10. I honestly do have a feeling that they'll try to mix it like a real show. There's a selection there good enough that it can happen, they can make a decent setlist with some cohesion. There's one break on Rattle and Hum (I think it's between SIlver and Gold and Pride) where they mixed it to sound sequential. Who knows! But as Sergio said, there's always editing programs!
  11. WIll be able to legally share versions we edit?
