    I'm afraid not We might be ok with a live compilation of unnofficial sources plus some official track thrown in & mixed down with the others, but a compilation consisting of JUST officially released material? Complicated.

    Seriously?

    People are actually complaining that U2 is releasing an album of fan-selected songs that are of official quality?

    I don't recall U2 fans being so unappreciative of their favorite band.

    why don't you like the tracklisting? i know it's not perfect but most people are just saying they don't like it and i don't see that much wrong with it :x

    It's simply a matter of taste. To me, there are a lot of toilet break/skip songs on the list, while some interesting stuff didn't make the cut. That's why I'm not too excited. If others are, that's great.

    yeah, i understand. i feel like if it had been mostly die-hards it wouldve been better. but i think overall this is a good compromise. now as you said, i'd love for a vinyl version to appear

    Maybe, then Elevation could be shunted onto the second disc. My disc two runs a little slow but I didn't have a Vertigo, Crazy Tonight or Sunday Bloody Sunday to play with. There are a lot of songs I'd consider as 'slow' or 'quiet' on the final list. Traditional encore songs or break (such as I Still Haven't found) songs.
