I really wanna go ice skating with my friends, but I'm rather inept on regular skates, and adding razor sharp blades to the equation seems like a bad idea. Any suggestions?

I'm calling it now. I'm gonna need surgery on my right knee by the time I'm in my mid-30's if not sooner.
