1. I'm good at the art of eye contact without staring. I find if the other person is uncomfortable with it, they wont meet you on it direct anyway. Last time I talked to her, she was facing me, and she did not seem uncomfortable with the direct eye contact. I think she may have even been blushing a little, but I'm not sure. Hard to tell between lighting, allergies, etc. It was awhile back, when I was being more half ass about this. Before I really got dedicated to making an effort.

    I'm almost 25 btw.
  2. I'm afraid I've horrendously misread everything, and she secretly hate my guts or some shit, and I'm just gonna look like a dumbass.
  3. when someone makes me blush it means they have caught me out thinking something naughty and it has happened to me before so she must like you
who cares only dumbass once with her if its the case its a chance well worth taking

    im almost 40 btw lol
i dont care for age honestly
i like older men always have, but there was this one time i was having a friendship with a 16 year when i was 27 and he did make me think twice which was a surprise to me, but i behaved myself
  4. Like I said though, I'm not sure if she was blushing. I know she normally has a rather pale complexion, but theres a number of things that can make ones face red.

Who knows. Maybe shes into me, and is just as lost and scared as I am. Seems unlikely, but would be adorable, lol.
  5. Mostly I find myself chasing women slightly younger than myself, although not exceptionally so. Also, worth noting, I do tend to get along with older women. Have a number of them as platonic friends.
  6. why should it seem unlikely
afterall you said you have been friends a long time in that time im sure feeling have shown and been avoided but the friendship lasted which is a sign
who knows maybe she has a picture memory of the outlines of your structure and face and well knows your nature all too well from the times you have shared together
and you just dont know it
  7. I would consider her more an aquaintance than a friend, although shes usually friendly to me if I talk to her, and we ain't seen each other in months if not years. She ain't responded to a previous atempt to try to catch up, but in fairness I phrased it first as an afterthought, then massively open ended, and I know she has a short attention span, so she most likely forgot. Especially since it was around a holliday, and I know she is close to her family, so she was most likely busy with stuff. I also know shes genreally the honest type, so I feel if she was straight up against it, she would have said no. I also know a mutual friend who was much closer to her recently tried to reconnect, but never heard back, so its possible shes just busy, or going through some kind of anti social spell for the winter.

Like I said, last time I saw her, she didn't look away from me when I made eye contact, looked like she may have been blushing, and we had a fairly decent conversation, when she could have easily just shooed me on, since she was working.
  8. just go ahead and ask her for coffee, stop procrastinating,
and let me know how you go
im going now i have to pack my bags with some music and prepare lunch
take care and see ya next time aaron
  9. Yeah, I figure that's. Just catching up is the best start. Like I said, I tried once half assed, but she never got back to me, so trying again, for just catching up, should be fine, long as I don't bug her like everyday. Hell, might even help, since it shows I actually am seriously interested in her, if I ask her again, after not seeing her for some time. Like everyone I ran it passed said for just catching up, trying again is fine. Long as I'm not obnoxious about it.
  10. I'm just paranoid.
  11. Would like to just run away, and go back to the status quo. Obviously I can live with the not knowing, since I made it this long But I feel if I back down now, I'll regret it more than just not knowing. Especially since I got the idea out there of wanting to catch up, and most her co-workers seem to like me (which I take as a good sign. If she thought I was a creepy stalker, she would have told them, presumably, and they would be much colder to me), I feel backing away now, would be throwing away any kind of advantage I may have.
  12. I'm on the iPad and playing scrabble with mum and it turns out I won't be going away a few days so thought I'd pop in here and for crying out loud aaron she is probably crazy about you, as long as you don't play any nasty mind games with her that can put her off,
Stop being paranoid, she's probably nuts about you the same but you won't know if you don't trust your instincts and try??
